Many websites aren't kept current but we hoped for a restaurant and bar on site as we didn't want to take a cab. The facility should invest in updating the rooms and the grounds. The hotel is in a lovely location and with some care could return to her earlier elegance. The room was very clean and linens fresh. I hope they bring her back to be the first class hotel she was meant to be.

They have closed the restaurant and the bar. You have to walk all the way down to this other restaurant that they own. They also tried to put us in a villa which you had to walk to with your suitcases. There was no transportation or help to get to that villa. When we got to the Villa the phone or the internet didn't work. So I requested to be put back in the main hotel. The building is a little dated which is fine to some extent but there's nothing around it. It's just a place to stay if you want to go to the airport the next day. The staff was friendly and helpful as they could be

It’s very sad. We have stayed there 1-2 times a year since it was a Best Western. It was always a great way to start and end a sailing trip. But this last visit for all 8 of us was awful. No restaurant or bar ( but it was advertised). Again, a very sad senerio.

No restaurant onsite Even though it was advertised The advertised the concierge to help with our wedding plans. We never received a call or email back from our requests. Charged a resort fee without having resort amenities! We requested maintenance on Monday and nobody came until Wednesday We had cockroaches in our room We ride the room was very warm and the AC did not seem like it was putting out enough cold air. They did move us to the another room and that room was much better at cooling. There was no indication that the room was about 120 yards away from the parking area. There was no one to assist us with our bags. Both of us have issues with our knees and this was not expected. Nothing was mentioned that we would have to use steps to get to the room. The bar was permanently closed. Soda Machine did not work The large patio shown for the deluxe villa is not what you get. The electric GFCI outlet next to the sink did not work. They had connected a simple extension cord from the 1950's electrical outlet on the old-school light above the sink and lady on the counter to use instead of the proper outlet. This is not only a potential code violation but also a law suit waiting to happen if someone gets hurt. Take a photo. When we played the hair dryer in and turned it on the light above the sink started to strobe. Electrical code violation next to the ice machine with exposed wiring and no cover to the junction box. The property is close to everything. No fault of the hotel but transportation costs are ridiculously high. To go 2 miles will cost you $9 PER PERSON. Emerald Beach is close by and is a nice beach to relax. All staff were really friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Paul at Fusion restaurant for being excellent.

Hotel is in a very nice location, 2 minutes walk to the airport. The property needs some maintenance and the rooms need major upgrades for a $230.00 per night hotel. There are no amenities on the property.

Everything you need to know before you book. It seemed like the perfect place for our 1st visit to the island. The hotel listing stated it had a pool, a restaurant and a beach. However, upon arrival we found out the restaurant was closed and the beach area was damaged due to the hurricane. The pool area was very nice, quiet and relaxing. Our room was good size, beds were ok, bathroom was good and the balcony with the bay/ocean view was beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Luckily, the Emerald Beach resort at the other end of the beach, a good 10 - 12 minute walk was open for Brk, Lunch and Dinner. It's the same walk to gain access to the Lindberg Bay beach area. Swimming there was very nice and you can snorkel along the rocks by the other resort at the very end of the beach. Though the location is super close to the airport, you must use a taxi to go anywhere else. Though I walked to most places, my friend needed the taxi as we did not rent a car. 2 convenient stores are about 1 mile away of the other side of the airport landing strip for water and snacks. A 5 minute Taxi to the Emerald Beach Resort is $5 a person. Downtown Charlotte Amalia is a 10 minute/$10 taxi ride per person. Lots of restaurants and shops there. If it weren't for the restaurant being closed, the hotel would have been perfect. They definitely need to update there listing.

Got Tony property to check in and the power was out sat there till 6:34 in the heat waiting to check into my room finally get power after 5hrs of none to get to my room and can’t take a shower because there is no shower curtain and no soap I felt bad having to keep going back and forth to the front desk because the phones don’t work all in all I don’t think I’ll be coming back even tho it’s in such a great location
