As featured on HGTV and winner of 'BANG FOR YOUR BUCK' in St Thomas. This recently renovated and secluded villa resides majestically on the hillside, 200 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. Wake up to the sound of the Atlantic Ocean crashing onto the rocks below. Cliffhanger is located in the best location on the island, the peninsula of Peterborg. Peterborg separates Magens Bay from the Atlantic and is comprised of exclusive villas. Cliffhanger also sits in the prime location within a private, secure, and gated community at the end of the private road. You will have total privacy but will still be close to many island attractions. Once you park and enter through the stone exterior wall of the property, you will be greeted by spectacular views of the Atlantic and various islands including St. John, Jost van Dyke and Tortola. The home is located less than 20 minutes from both the airport, the nightlife in Red Hook, and the ferry to St. John. It is also only 2 miles from world famous Magens Bay beaches and just 5 minutes to the renowned Old Stone Farmhouse restaurant. This is the perfect vacation home for a family, 2 to 4 couples wanting the ultimate get away, or a honeymooning couple wanting a memory to last a lifetime. The villa has a heated plunge pool, a hot tub, and a whole house generator to insure a wonderful stay on the island.

You also can have all the amenities of a resort if you so choose. Our Villa manager will greet you at the airport and show you to the villa and make your stay wonderful. He will then get you acquainted and answer questions... Other services that are available include daily housekeeping, grocery services, onsite massage, onsite yoga chefs services, and water excursions on a private vessel (please inquire at time of booking to give us time to arrange). We pride ourselves on our personal service. You will love it!

Our group does a vacation together every year. Our experience at the Cliffhanger did not disappoint! It was fabulous! The views are stunning! Coffee on the msin deck was a perfect way to start each day! We felt safe and relaxed at this location! I highly recommend the Cliffhanger home! If we ever decided to come back to St. Thomas we would love to stay here again!

Amazing Friend and Family Vacation

Having Sally meet us at the airport was very helpful in getting us to the house due to the roads and being unfamiliar with driving on the left. When we arrived the view was breathtaking. The house was perfectly divided for our group and the space was adequate for children. The rooms in the main house were cooled nicely if the blinds were shut during the day. I recommend opening the doors and letting the breeze cool the house at night, but close the doors when going to bed.The house had wonderful kitchen items and was stocked well. The drive is around 20-25 mins from everything but worth the views. We saw most islands on clear days, and will never forget our time in the Cliffhanger.

Family spring break

We loved the location of the property, the views, and the layout of the house worked great for our family of 5. It was nice we were able to follow the property manager to the house when we arrived. After check-in, I felt the communication and response time to questions was below average. There is also no information regarding the house, which is typically supplied in a binder in house rentals. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay, but the attention to detail and customer service to guests is lacking.

Peterborg Estate

Our family has traveled to St Thomas multiple times. So not new to the area. This home as others have described has amazing views and is very well equipped but other than that there are some things I would like to point out as were concerning to our stay. We were to be met by Sally at the airport to escort to the home and she was late arriving, so we had to stand/wait in the rain. Upon arrival to the home and her showing us a few things she didn't go over how to turn hot water in the villa on nor how to use the jacuzzi. We had to reach out to her to ask direction with a delay on her response to our phone call. Never offered to come back to villa to help us nor even checked back at any point to see if we got it handled or needed any assistance with anything! Maybe a folder with instructions would help guests to refer to.My 2 adult daughters were staying in the villa and in the night one got up to use the restroom only to come upon a scorpion on the floor. Thank God she was not stung by it. They no longer wanted to stay up there, so we had to make do without using that space. In the master bedroom the air handler is right next to the bed and VERY noisy and hard to sleep with when on. Found a pop tart wrapper under the master bed. The water pressure though out the home is poor. Were unable to get the Tv's to work as the remotes had dead batteries. For this owner to advertise this home as he does, he really needs to step up and maintain the home better!

Best trip ever!

We recently stayed at this stunning rental house in St. Thomas, and it was truly a dream vacation! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking ocean views that greeted us from every room. Waking up to the sight of the ocean each morning was an absolute delight. The house itself is beautifully designed and immaculately maintained. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, each with its own unique view of the surrounding beauty. The fully-equipped kitchen made it easy for us to prepare meals, and we loved having breakfast on the main deck while watching the sailboats drift by. One of the highlights of our stay was the private pool and hot tub. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the island. We spent many afternoons lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun, and taking in the serene atmosphere.The location of the house is ideal. It’s close to some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen, and just a short drive to local markets and restaurants. We visited Magens Bay and even took a day trip to nearby St. John, both of which were fantastic. The convenience of being able to explore the island and return to such a luxurious home base made our vacation truly special. Robert and Sally were both incredibly responsive and provided us with great recommendations for dining and activities. Their attention to detail and hospitality made us feel right at home. Overall, our stay exceeded all expectations.

Beautiful villa

We had a great stay in St. Thomas. The views from the balconies were absolutely stunning. The house was very nice and very clean. We rented a car at the airport and Sally met us there and we followed her back to the house which was very helpful, especially the tour of the home that she provided. the owner was very responsive to any questions that we had and quick to answer. Overall had a great experience and would definitely recommend anyone staying here.

Great house in a great location.

If you want to wake up everyday to stunning views..this is the house for you. Almost every room in the house has a view with sliders to decks. If we return to St Thomas we will definitely stay here again.

This house is amazing! Our family (all adults) could not have asked for a better location, view, amenities and every extra you can imagine. Magnificent view!

This place was amazing. Could not of asked for anything better. Plenty of places to view the Caribbean. 4 different decks in the main house house and two in the cabana for sitting and relaxing. This has been our best vacation to date. Highly recommended! Look forward to going back.

Gorgeous Get-Away in a Perfect Location

This is a truly beautiful and unique property - the listing information accurately portrays the home and surroundings. Nestled up on the cliffside, you have a stunning view and total privacy. The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed - plenty of extra towels, blankets, basic cooking supplies, snorkels, beach chairs, etc. We appreciated the split lay-out with private bathrooms for all of us. This would be an idea home for couples traveling together (or in my case, parent traveling with several teens) - everyone has their own space, even private balconies. The drive is a little harrowing, but such is driving on the island! The home's location on the cliffside, at the end of a gated, private road offers peace of mind and privacy. I can't imagine trying to find it on my own, so I was very appreciative that they have a property manager meet you at the airport to lead the way ....first taking you by the grocery store. Take advantage of that service, because finding your way back down the mountain at night is probably not a great plan for Day 1 of your vacation :) Another huge plus is the location on the Petersborg peninsula. You can quickly get to everywhere you need to go (especially the best beach you could hope for, Magen's Bay), while still feeling tucked away from the world. Quick drive into Charlotte Amalie for shopping and dock for snorkeling excursions. Similarly short drive to Red Hook for watersports and dining. Strongly recommend this little gem!

Paradise in view

This place is wonderful and on top of the world it seems. The views and breezes are excellent. It’s so nice that supplies are available in the house for laundry and kitchen which makes it convenient. There are plenty of towels, soap, paper products, etc. The bar and refrigerator even had some beverages left from past vacationers *bonus*. Rob was really easy to reach for any questions or suggestions. Be prepared for driving very steep, narrow, curvy roads on the left side of the road. Meagan’s Bay beach and Coki Beach Point are beautiful and at Coki, there’s more of a local flair. We experienced carnival week and Jouvert! This was a vacation of a lifetime.

Amazing trip in amazing location

Would have been very easy for this trip to go poorly as our initial flights got cancelled due to the tropical storm. Robert (and Sally) were extremely helpful as soon as we notified them we wouldn't be getting in as expected and met us the next day when we were able to arrive. The home had been cleaned up and you would have had no idea a storm had just come through. Felt immediately relaxed and at home upon arrival. Couldn't recommend more and we look forward to returning soon!
