This homely, charming cottage is very comfortable, with the arrangement of bedrooms and the extra ensuite bathroom being perfect for our family. The kitchen was reasonably well resourced with a large stove top and large oven making it easier to cook for our group. The outdoor dining and lounge ensemble, just outside the kitchen door, with the firepit nearby, made a pleasant alternative dinner setting. There is a flat grassy backyard that our kids could play in and it was lovely relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. The cottage is close enough to the town centre to walk in, which we did a couple of times. For comfort and convenience, we highly recommend this place.
Very comfortable well equipped cottage. Quiet location within walking distance to the town centre. We would all stay there again and would recommend to friends.
Had a wonderful stay in Addisons Cottage. Warm and cosy for our xmas in July celebrations. Hosts were extremely helpful with a small coffee machine issue and went out of their way to fix things within the hour. Awesome service and would highly recommend. Peter, Kay with family and pups.
The house is quaint, perfectly renovated to keep the character and charm and we all absolutely loved it. It is the type of house we always select for week ends to the country. We stayed as a girls weekend with a group of five and the house suited us perfectly. We did have to use an extra bed so that we could all have a bed to ourselves but it wasnât a problem. The bathrooms are very modern clean and spacious and the interior of the house is decorated country style with very comfy couches! The back patio has two lounges with a coffee table which we were happy about as we couldnât see this in the photos so was an added surprise especially when we had five adults. The back patio table is perfect and we used it every day for brekky as the back of the house has the morning sun. Fire wood was provided for the fire pit and indoor fireplace plus lighters and kindling . Itâs very close to everything you need or a short drive to pubs cafes and tourist attractions! Iâd definitely stay in âourâ little cottage if I ever came back here. Love love love it đ
Beautiful, comfortable house with everything you need!
Had a wonderful stay with friends, the house is well equipped, comfortable and so pretty! Just a short walk into town. Would love to stay here again!
Thank you so much Simone and Antony.
We had a fabulous stay at Addisons. Perfect location, great yard for the kids and dog to play. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Ample supply of firewood for the fireplace and fire pit. Heaters and electric blankets in each bedroom and extra blankets. Great location, 15 minute leisurely stroll to town. Weâll definitely be back
We were a group of four adults, a toddler and a dog, and we absolutely loved this cottage. Itâs in a very quiet location but a short walk from the riverside park and then into town. There is plenty of space with every bedroom having a little extra nook, even if it doubles as the wardrobe. Lovely bathrooms, kitchen, and cosy living area. We loved the fenced garden and outdoor seating and fire pit too. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. Overall an excellent stay for visiting Stanthorpe and local wineries.
Lovely well-equipped home with a fenced yard for the dog. The house had a split AC + open fire (plenty of wood provided) for Stanthorpeâs chilly winter nights. We would love to return.
