We stayed in room 434 with outside access. The thermostat would not warm past 60 degrees on heat no matter what temp you set it to. Everything epse was mediocre which was expected from the price.

You get what you pay for, and that's not a bad thing. Our room was small, with short ceilings, and the coffee maker was in the bathroom. However, the room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was courteous, and we were able to check in hours before the standard check in time. Given our stay was during the winter with 2 degree lows and 11 degree highs, the heater worked extremely well and we stayed warm throughout our stay.

We checked in one week after a big storm and apparently their boiler was frozen. Our room temp would not rise above 60 degrees and there were no other rooms available. We did receive a discounted rate for that night, then moved to a different room the next day when it became available. Unfortunately, that room had the opposite problem and the temperature would not drop below 74. Both rooms were clean, just not updated. The carpet in the hallway outside of the second room was filthy (nearly black) and there was debris scattered down the hallway as well. The staff was all very friendly and tried their best to be accommodating in a difficult situation. Location was convenient to a Cata bus stop that dropped off at Beaver stadium for a game.

Weather during the time of our stay was in single digits and our room was 50 degrees when we checked in, we could see daylight through the space where the door met the frame and cold air blowing though it. Hotel staff said boiler not able to keep up with cold temps. Our room never got above 55 degrees and hotel said nothing g they could do other then let us check out and not charge us…..this was 10:00 at night during a busy weekend with very limited availability elsewhere. It was unsafe for us to stay at the Ramada and for our safety we had to go elsewhere and pay over 3x the price. I acceptable and will never stay here again nor will iI recommend this place to my friends.

Support staff was nice. The hotel looks to be turning into more of a motel than hotel. Pool heater was broken. Room bathroom was very small. Shower worked, but 1/2 water was coming out of spicket and 1/2 coming out shower head. Felt like handles were going to fall off. Although likely correct description, expected 2 queens and got 2 full size beds (smaller than antiicipated). "Restaurant" felt like old VFW gathering center. Free breakfast was OK, but not much taste to any of the actual food.

The room was clean however the shower in the bathroom would not shut off if you just wanted to take a bath and the upper soap dish was very loose other than that the room(120) was very adequate, but it seamed like the heater ran constantly and the room was a little cool. Will use again if needed.
