Sleeps 10, Five Minutes From Heavenly, Panoramic Mountain Views

This 6 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house has panoramic views of Heavenly and the Sierra Nevada. 5 bedrooms have king-sized beds and 1 bedroom has two bunk beds. The house is carefully-appointed with all the amenities and a chef's kitchen. The bottom floor can be used as a separate space with 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette and a separate bath. You can access hiking and biking trails directly from the house and it is a short drive to both Boulder and Stagecoach lodges at Heavenly. 100 gallons of hot water!

All advertising for the vacation home rental must include:
a. Permit number
b. Max occupancy
c. Number of permitted parking stalls
d. Notice that the renter will be issued a parking permit which must be on display on the
driver’s side dashboard of the vehicle
e. Quiet hours are designated between 9 pm and 8 am and will be strictly enforced
f. Notification to renters that they will be issued a parking permit which they must display on
the driver’s side dashboard of their vehicle. Failure to park in the designated parking spaces
and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the owner of the
vehicle.

Plenty of room for my family of 10. 3 floors, love the bottom floor living area with balcony and micro kitchen. Great views as we were all the way up. No AC but there was a nice cross breeze in the 1st or top floor.Other than the fire alarm going off at 3am randomly which jarred everyone awake,it was a pleasant stay.

The property was very well suited for our large family needs. I felt that the 2 gathering areas were great for the kids. However there is no large outdoor space, 3 small decks. The beds were comfortable. There was a lack of lines that the property manager did bring more the next day. Over all the home was in a state of repair/updating. Two of the windows on the upper floor were without screens, very scary if we would have had toddlers. we couldn't leave those windows open for ventilation. The kitchen was too well stocked and very unorganized. It was difficult to wash and put away as nothing seemed to have a place. We also had no room for the storage of our supplies which just makes for messy spaces. The garage was to hold 2 cars for the parking restrictions but it was too full of supplies that only one would fit.

We had an excellent time staying at this property. The house was very well stocked with everything one might need. Communication with the host very quick and easy. Plenty of parking and fairly close to restaurants, shopping, casinos, and outdoor activities. We brought our dog with us and a dog park was right around the corner. I would recommend this property for anyone traveling to Tahoe with a large group. We had 8 people and a dog with plenty of room to spare.

Handyman's Heaven

We picked this property for its location, view, and number of rooms. Those were all great. Otherwise, it was one of the worst stays ever. The place was very ill-maintained. There were tons of issues. First, the check-in process was ridiculous. I kept asking for check-in instructions and did not get any. When I finally arrived at the property, there was nearly no cell signal. We were stranded outside in the cold for 40+ minutes. Had to drive back into down to call. Host argued that she sent codes 20+ minutes before check-in time. But I was unable to get it due to no signal. Was host in the right or in the wrong? You be the judge. House was full of issues. Leaky windows, clogged drains, filthy washer, sheets/towels left in dryer, coffee mug left on window sill, broken cabinets, bedrooms with no closet/dresser, or closets filled with junk, same with garage. Unlockable bathroom. D/S TV has no connection & about to fall off the wall. Bunk bedroom was a joke; no adults could fit. Broken drawer in fridge, missing button on hood, loose hand rail. Mismatched lids/pots/pans. No baking sheets. More junk in kitchen drawers. Basically, every single person found some issues. Prime location, and I even believe that this place was nice once. But it was obvious that Host did not care about it or your feelings. Cleaning crew was very sloppy. Oh yeah, and they even sent 2 online purchases to the property address while we were renting. Hopelessly sub-par and unprofessional. BYO toolbox!

Pictures don’t do the house and views justice. Even my 3 year old granddaughter was impressed with the views. The house had all the little extras that made our stay extra special. We all had plenty of space to spread out and just have fun. Quick trip to town. I recommend it

Great Views and Plenty of Room

Our family wanted a place to gather together in the South Lake Tahoe area but wanted to be away from the congestion and traffic and this place was perfect for our needs. There is a floor downstairs with a mini kitchen that worked just fine for my son and daughter in law who were traveling with a baby. The rest of us stayed on a separate floor. Everything we could possible need was provided at the house and if not stores were close by. To top it off the views of the mountains are great from this property.

I think the view makes up for any other let downs that you might think the house has (which to me it didnt)didn't. It was clean, had everything we needed, if I had any issues Julie communicated back with me right away. We went in a 15-passenger van and during the day it was snowing. we went to get groceries by the time we got back it was night time and the roads where very slippery! Our van did NOT make it up. I recommend you either make sure you have 4x4 or chains handy.

Great house for large group. Amazing views

This is a great house for large groups. Proximity to Heavenly is great. Very spacious with comfortable beds. We had trouble with some of the burners in the stove but the manager has indicated that the stove is being replaced. Beautiful, peaceful neighborhood away (but not too far away) from the bustle of South Lake. As the listing says, AWD recommended in the winter if it’s snowy. Definitely recommend this property.

It was ok

Good location and beautiful views from cabin. It does not appear that this cabin is professionally cleaned and is just cleaned by the owner. There were things like missing kitchen sponge, unlined trash bins, a leftover empty water bottle behind the night stand, to board games strewn all over the closet in the bunk room, and empty soap dispensers, that a professional cleaning crew would have noticed and replaced or tidied up. The biggest problem with the cabin was the fact that only one of the five burners on the stone would work and stay on. This was a huge inconvenience and was not noted on the house listing or description. I only got a note about the broken stove the day of check-in. At that point, how would be book another house during the weekend before Thanksgiving? The owner offered to bring an electric burner to the house but at that point my group said to just forget it, there was nothing she was going to do to fix the stove and said the part was on back order to fix the stove. So she clearly knew this was an ongoing issue and she still chose to rent out her home knowing guests would only be able to use one burner. The master shower is also broken and only one sprayer stays on. I believe this listing should be removed from Vrbo until the stove and shower are fixed - or the listing should clearly state these issues with the house and then let the renter decide if they still want to stay there. If we were notified of these issues before we booked, we would choose another home.
