Broken bed - sleeping too close for comfort

Everything was going well, nice space, clean room, and pleasant staff, until we went to bed. My husband and I kept rolling toward each othe to the middle! Now, I do love him, but there is a reason why we have a king size bed at home and always get king sized beds in hotel roooms; we MUST have our own space! The next morning, after about 3 hours sleep max, as I was getting ready in the sink area, I noticed the bed sagging in the center. I got down on my hands and knees, and broke the Cardinal rule of Hotel staying - I stuck my hand under the bed only to find the center brace laying on the ground. It was far enough over to the left to know that it hadn't just fallen off. It should have been noticed/reported by cleaning staff and fixed by maintenance before anyone was assigned this room. When we checked out, I reported it to the desk. I got the usual, "oh, we're so sorry! We'll look into it." But they did say they weren't sure if there was maintenance staff to correct over the weekend, so I am not sure if other guests experienced what we did, or not. Also, the lighting on the makeup mirror was terrible. So much that I thought it was the nightlight and there had to be anothr switch for the "real" light. There was not. I couldn't see anything!
