Entire hotel under renovation! Rubble all around. Our room was ok once you got in. No lights out front. No safety lights around the building. Had 5- FIVE e mails 1-2 days prior to our stay, never mentioned renovations. Desk person said since we used a second party to book not there problem. Hotel wanted a photo of drivers license- NOOO!

I booked the room an hour before our stay. I clicked on today’s date but it booked the next day. At check in she told us it was the wrong day. She told us to cancel and re-book, have Hotels.com call and she will credit the wrong day. Never received a credit so Ramada lied or Hotels never called. Major remodel going on and very noisy after 10:30pm and the next morning. Dogs barking in the rooms. Would be nice to be told up front.

Construction noise directly above my hotel room throughout my stay along with loud music from construction workers made it difficult to relax and sleep. Also very noisy housekeeping staff in hallways and inconsistent cleaning schedule, some times taking towels and not replacing them, only cleaning up one out of two beds, etc. The entire hotel is under construction, would probably recommend staying elsewhere.

My stay at Ramada was wonderful! Check in was superb. Room was fantastic. The king bed was super. I slept like a log every night. Breakfast options: scrambled eggs, grits, sausage, blueberry muffins, yogurt, cereal, toast or bagel, and waffles, hot cocoa, and coffee!

We have stopped at this location often going back and forth from Florida. We have always valued it for its on-site restaurant , proximity to re-fueling and I-77. When we arrived this afternoon, we found the restaurant and bar demolished “under construction”. There is no other reasonable restaurant for 80 year olds to access after dark. We ended up eating fast food burgers. Whose responsibility is it to report “under construction “ ? yours or the vendor ? The guest checking in before me was also mortified and was given a substantial credit to his prepaid reservation. By using expedia.ca , we did not have access to that. VERY, VERY disappointed in both the vendor and expedia.ca.

Under Renovation

Hotel is under renovation, and I mean serious renovation with pool closed, gym closed, dust everywhere, entrance being rebuilt, wow! This place should have been closed while undergoing all this work. Supposed to be done Jan. 1, 2026. MAYBE.I would not recommend this hotel until next year.

This Ramada Inn was difficult to find. Entire front of hotel was under construction/renovation and property did not look anything like the picture on the web site. It did not even appear to be open for business. Hotel management should have had a large, temporary sign on the street telling customers the building was the Ramada Inn, and it was open for business. When we checked in, we were put in a renovated room at the very rear of the hotel which was not fully furnished: no closet, no wardrobes, nowhere to hang clothes, no suitcase stand to unpack, no hair dryer, no iron or ironing board, dark/scary looking hallways with unfinished walls. My wife was not comfortable leaving our room without me. On a positive note, the front desk clerk was welcoming, and tried hard, but hotel management gets an "F". The continental breakfast was good!

It was under construction had, no elevator and most of it seemed dusty because of construction. We had booming sounds that we could feel in our room. We got there about 8:30 pm. Our room was clean and breakfast was good. We were not aware of the construction to the building in and out.

The hotel is under major renovation. It should be disclosed when making reservations. Room was clean and I think updated. No closet, hangers or iron. Room numbers are taped on the door. At least construction noise ended at 8 pm. Out looks terrible. Had to walk under a welder.

You really should let people know if the property is under construction on the web and let them decide whether to stay or not. There was drywall dust on and in everything, hallways reeked of paint and dust. Dust in the rooms, furniture that was falling apart and we were TOLD the rooms were finished and had new furniture, swimming pool (not that i would have used it) was not in working order. The breakfast was horrible.
