Located in the heart of Angeln, Schleswig-Holstein, Sterup is about 20 km from Flensburg, Kappeln, and Schleswig. The nearest beach is just 10 minutes away, and within 20 km you’ll find around 30 different beaches on the Flensburg Fjord, such as Holnis or Kronsgaard (Baltic Sea). The region offers many water sports opportunities: sailing, water skiing, surfing, kitesurfing, fishing, and swimming. Discover nature reserves, forests, and outdoor experiences in the surrounding area. A trip to the Viking village Haitabu near Schleswig is also recommended.
