Chalet Unit #20 is part of the iconic Chalet on the Lake resort and enjoys a rare front-row, beachfront position right along the shores of Lake Michigan. Surrounded by sweeping lake views and the natural beauty of the coastline, this 2-Bedroom/1-Bath chalet sleeps up to six guests and available for year-round stays. Guests also enjoy exclusive access to the Resort’s amenities, including sandy beaches, three swimming pools, sports courts, beach volleyball, playgrounds, ponds, and more.

THE SPACE
Chalet #20 offers a bright and inviting main level designed for relaxing after a day at the beach. The living area features comfortable seating and a TV, with large sliding glass doors that open directly to the deck putting Lake Michigan just steps away. A dining area is perfect for shared meals or game nights, while the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals at home. A full first-floor bathroom includes a glass-enclosed walk-in shower.

Upstairs, both bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements ideal for families or groups. Step outside to the expansive beachfront deck to enjoy lake breezes, unforgettable sunsets, and unobstructed views of Lake Michigan right below.

Two dedicated parking spaces make arrivals and unloading easy. Note that this home does not have a washer or dryer, but there is a laundromat nearby.

Nearby St. Joseph and New Buffalo offer vibrant shopping, galleries, and seasonal festivals, while local trails, nature preserves, and orchards invite peaceful outdoor adventures.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

The property location was great. It was off season when we stayed so the pool facilities were closed but it looked like a nice set-up. I love they have outdoor sport courts and playgrounds. Felt very welcoming for families with kids. The private and public beach was well kept and peaceful. Short drive to St. Joseph and silver beach. The only downside was the bunk beds were a bit firm and my kids where afraid to sleep on the top bunk with no rail. Housekeeping also showed up a day early and was a bit rude saying we should be out already. Once we showed them our stay was booked through one more day, she left but wasnt happy that she was told the wrong day. Which I get happens and is inconvenient for them but I do think she could have been more graceful. Overall though, I would stay again as it was absolutely beautiful and welcoming for families.
