Accueil très rapide,
Chambre : luit vraiment trop mou, douche minuscule,
Le petit déjeuner commence à 7h30, et il n'y a rien de prêt pour les gens qui partent avant. Ca me parait tard pour une ville qui vit du tourisme avec un ferry qui part à 7h....
Bref pour passer une nuit rapide pas plus

A general air of decay about the place

We absolutely loved the County Hotel. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Stornoway which is a small and walkable town. The staff were extremely kind, courteous and helpful - really friendly and full of excellent advice, going the extra mile. Sunday in Stornoway is very special and there is not much open but the hotel continued to provide breakfast and refreshments throughout the day and facilities for having a take away as well as advice where to find one. There were alternative venues for dinner nearby and we were pleased to see the staff get a rest on the all important Lord's Day. Parking is one issue as it is not clear if parking restrictions will be enforced on the street and there is only a small car park. While it is possible to have a car and stay at this hotel, it is probably most convenient for foot passengers.

Not to be recommended I’m afraid
Publié le 10 sept. 2023 sur HotelsWe were very disappointed right from entering the hotel. Furniture was disgraceful all worn and basically done ready for the tip. Would certainly not recommend and the rate per night was outrageous for the state of the hotel. Staff were nice and breakfast was reasonable. Sorry probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed in for £204 per night for 2 night.
