Located in the heart of Stowe Hollow!!! Close to town!!! Close to skiing!!!

This light and cheery log cabin sits just above the historic Stowe Village in one of the most desirable Stowe locations: Stowe Hollow.
In addition to its great location, it has heart pine flooring, tastefully decorated bathrooms, and two full-sized living rooms, that are comfortable for both adults and children. Most importantly, the home maintains the romantic, antique feel of the true log home experience with a touch of Nantucket cottage thrown in. All in all a warm and happy home for a great vacation. Please note: There are some steep log cabin stairs to get to the two bedrooms on the second floor, which are probably not good for the very elderly.

This was a perfect house for two families to share while in Stowe for a hockey tournament!!We had everything we needed and the space was incredibly spacious and comfortable! Four boys enjoyed the finished basement and pool table all weekend! They Loved the bedrooms and had their own bathroom! Our host was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had quickly and thoroughly! If you’re looking for the quintessential, cozy Vermont home- this one is for you!!

The pictures in the listing don't do this property justice. Absolutely stunning and magical. Comfortably fit 2 adult couples, 2 single adults and 2 kids under 5....with plenty of room to spare!!Spacious, clean, gorgeous and wonderful host that stayed in great communication before, throughout the stay and follow up after. I don't want to rave about it too much because this is going to be our "go to space" from now on and I want there to be plenty of availability :) Couldn't recommend it more!

We had 11 people and the huge variety of bedrooms and sleeping arrangements. Made it all work beautifully. The location could not have been better as there was a family wedding just across the street. Loved taking walks using your house as homebase.

Why can't all VRBOs be like Stowe Hollow! The place was amazing, there was everything we needed. Plenty of space and it was so easy to settle in. The owner called to make sure if we needed anything. The location is just right. I can't wait to be back there.

Family friendly rental

The house was exactly as listed and provided plenty of room for our group of skiers! We enjoyed the large and plentiful dining space. The kids particularly enjoyed the finished basement. The sauna was great after a day of skiing.

Shockingly Nice!

There was about 8 of us who came up for the road race and had a lovely time. The house was great. Sauna was beautiful as well as the yard. Great kitchen for family meals, it had everything we needed. Douglas was a wonderful host, we would love to rent this place for the race again next year!

Delightful experience

We recently stayed at this location and it was a delightful experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature’s serenity. The property was impeccably clean and a charming water stream added to the peaceful ambiance. It is a perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Great stay, great location!

Really close to downtown Stowe! Lots of places to sit outside or inside with your family and friends and tons of room for sleeping. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place near Stowe!

Cool rustic log cabin

Our group of 9 enjoyed the well-appointed, rustic but cozy house and the size of the property. There was plenty of space for everyone and the location is great, quiet but very close to Stowe village. Despite the rain, we had a fabulous Labour Day weekend and we're hoping to be able to return next year!

Rustic Stowe at its best!

Even better than the pictures. So much space and close to everything Stowe has to offer. You can even walk to the Pinnacle from there. Reached out once during the stay and the host was terrific and quick to address our question. 100% would stay at again. Everyone in the group was over the moon with the house.

Family gathering brought 7 of us together. More than enough room for our group. Close to Stowe village without the chaos. Quiet. Clean. Douglas was great- very communicative. Would absolutely recommend this place if you're going to stowe.

Can I only give it 5 stars? Should be more.

The house was better than we expected, the pictures don't even give the size justice. Plenty of space for all of us. The beds were very comfortable. The over all feel of the place felt like you were home instead of at a rental the perfect mixture of rustic with a modern feel. Location is amazing, quiet area just on the out skirts of Stowe very peaceful and everything is just a short ride away. The owner Douglas is great, I had questions and he answered everything quickly and fully even to the point of me asking about the paintings on the wall. It was a wonderful experience and will definitely rent the place again in the future. One piece of advice I would give anyone renting here in the summer is take a day and cook out and enjoy the yard highly recommend relaxing with your feet in the brook.

LARGE HOME HUGE PROPERTY

Both the house and the property were massive and close proximity to the heart of Stowe. The check-in process was super easy and the owner responded to every question very quickly. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment .The owner was very accommodating for me and my family, even providing some extra time for checkout with the late flight. I highly recommend this property.

Very spacious and well equipped

The place is located very close to center of the town and about 15 minutes from the ski resort. Douglas is a great owner which was available for all the questions. Will stay again.
