The staff were welcoming and helpful. Lovely reception area. Our room was spacious, my only criticism would be that our room was described as a superior kingsize. The 'kingsize' bed was two beds individually made with their own sheets and pushed together with a cover over both beds.

Amazing Boutique B&B
Posted Dec. 11, 2021 on HotelsWe had a great stay at the Arden House B&B. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was gorgeous and the bed was so comfy. The only thing was that it was a little cold in the room. The radiator was only warm at the bottom. The radiator in the bathroom didn't work at all. I would definitely stay again, the bedding and towels were lush. There was a good coffee machine in the breakfast room that was free all day.

Beautiful building in an excellent central location. The room was large and the bathroom was huge. The decor just needed a little attention. Door to the room needed a lick of paint. The walls inside were scuffed, cracked and in need of a repaint, although very clean. The communal areas were all in good condition. Staff were so helpful, had a lovely stay.

Not a good as it could/should have been
Posted Nov. 15, 2021 on HotelsThis opening picture is not correct, as the hotel is coloured grey, and sadly, doesn't look as nice. Remaining pictures all seem accurate. Unfortunately, my friend, who was staying in another room (room 5 I think), did not have a fully functioning shower, which he only discovered in the morning, about an hour before checking out. Given the cost of the room (£135) that's pretty poor.
