L'hôtellerie au Royaume-Uni est loin d'être aux standards d'autres pays, surtout au vu des prix pratiqués, mais là j'ai trouvé un bel hôtel, confortable, chaleureux et un super accueil.

Une adresse convenable
Publié le 6 juin 2019 sur HotelsNous avions fait le choix du Double Tree car pour avoir séjourné dans autre établissement de la marque nous sommes globalement toujours satisfaits. Si l’hôtel, un beau bâtiment, est bien situé et facilement accessible (le parking est payant avec un tarif préférentiel de 7,50£ pour les résidents de l’hôtel) il nous a fait l’impression de manquer d’un petit coup de fraîcheur. C’est très certainement un ancien hôtel reconverti en Double Tree. De fait quelques éléments auraient mérités une meilleure attention : pas de service des boissons à table au petit déjeuner, manque d’explication sur les produits et pas assez de choix, quelques détails sur le ménage dans la chambre (pas de changement de verre, erreur sur les produits de salle de bain, coussins non rangés)… Peut-être des petits détails mais qui font la différence dans d’autres établissements Double Tree que nous avons déjà testé. Néanmoins nous avions une chambre King Deluxe très très spacieuse qui devait avoisiner les 40 m2. Une chambre à la déco standard mais très confortable et très propre. On regrettera le manque de luminosité (une seule petite fenêtre). Pour les deux nuits que nous avons passé à Stratford c’était bien. Mais je pense que pour un prochain séjour nous allons chercher une adresse différente peut-être avec plus de cachet.

Emplacement : Stratford upon Avon est le belle ville, avec plusiers place des interest de Shakespeare et le RSC theatre. Warwick Castle est pres Stratford.
Cette hotel est magnifique pour le exploration de la belle ville de Stratford Upon Avon, Angleterre

All good apart from Expedia somehow booked us a disability room !!
Orthopedic beds , hard ,so not a good sleep. Queried with reception & they said did you book through Expedia !!
Check your room out b4 moving in your luggage etc.

Overall a lovely stay
Publié le 9 mars 2024 sur HotelsThe room was clean and well maintained. My only complaint was the pillows which were so soft that it felt like you didn’t have one. I had to wrap it up to give it some weight. Normally you get a firm and a soft pillow in a hotel but all 4 on the bed were like air, I didn’t have the best of sleeps because of this. I’m sure if I was staying more than one night this could have been resolved as the staff were very helpful

A well located and confortable hotel
Publié le 7 mars 2024 sur HotelsA well located hotel that is merely 5 minutes walk from the train station and walkable to the town centre. the room for 3 adults (junior suite) was spacious and comfortable. We were a little disappointed with the breakfast as it was not hot, and we understand that "fresh" products cannot be provided continuously so some of the food had hardened (fried eggs) which spoilt it. Other than that there was a god selection and choice of breakfast items.
