The Space:

The home offers a king bed, a queen bed, Queen Sleeper sofa, and playful kid’s only bunk bed with a slide, as well as a living room, a family room, a dining area, and a game room. Stay close to the vibrant life of Downtown Sturgeon Bay while enjoying the tranquility of this property--just a short drive from local attractions, dining, and shopping.

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:

• Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)

• A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.

• PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

Great Little House

We took a family fishing trip when we visited Sturgeon Bay. The house accommodated us perfectly. Plenty of room to hang out and visit and everyone slept well. The kitchen was great and we used it for a fish fry after we caught our walleye. Fun time had by all.

Very nice. Best mattress ever slept on. Very nice and clean. Loved the seclusion and the bon fire ring. Kitchen had anything we needed. Well equipped overall. Loved the soft towels.

It worked—but not the best.

Not a lot of time was spent at the Sweet Retreat as our family explored Door County. The lack of bedding, cleanliness, and unpleasant smells inside the property was a disappointment. Providing items such as tissues and an outdoor grill would make the retreat sweeter.

The house was about what I expected. Beds were comfortable. nice rural area. Missing a few items that would be a nicer such as. Grill, casserole dish and storage containers. Also blinds/curtains would be nice it the main rooms for city folk it is a bit eerie with no window treatments. Idk who or what is out in the woods staring in. Dad trying.
