Cabin was in the perfect mountain spot. Plenty to see outdoors close by. Was also close to several of the smaller towns for shopping/sightseeing.We enjoyed our stay exploring the area.
The property exceeded expectations and the management team was extremely helpful. I'd definitely recommend the property to others looking for a cozy getaway in the mountains.
Love staying at this cabin. If youâre an outdoor lover, and want a relaxing stay, this is where you can de-stress! Great communication with host. They just need to pay more attention to the cleanliness. There was a towel behind the bedroom door, cobwebs on that internal lamps, burnt out lights just to name a few. But nothing that would deter us from staying again.
When I find an issue at a rental, I usually bring it to the managerâs attn so it can be fixed. But as we got into this cabin, the list of issues was so immense, it quickly became clear that things were well beyond a simple fix or quick call to management. Firstly, the address provided was wrongâŠwhat a nightmare. And we feel the washed out gravel roads of the neighborhood shouldâve been mentioned in advance. Iâd recommend a vehicle with good ground clearance. NO SMOKER - Just two charcoal grills and a semi functional gas grill. No Big Green Egg on site as mentioned in the ad. All the dishes and utensils we pulled out of the cabinets either had hair or caked-on food.Green spots in the shower floor, long hairs on shower walls upon arrival. And there were dark red stains on the white towels providedâŠjust not a good look. Plus, the ad says to bring laundry detergent, but there was no laundry machine there!AC needs to be replaced. It was never able to lower the house temp in early April. Main living room ceiling fan not functional. Other: Both sets of window blinds were broken in master bedroom. No working outdoor lights for hot tub area after dark. Pair of black socks left upstairs for us to find. We totally regret this three night stay, and I wouldnât recommend Suches Vacation Rentals to anyone.
Our stay was amazing! The property is beautiful, of your wanting quietness and privacy this is your spot. Communication was amazing, there was an issue with the heat, they came up with a solution quickly to make surewe were comfortable. A few little things, the hot tub would not go past a certain degree, and wasnt that hot, and the jets did not work well, along with the controls on the hot tub. Other than that we REALLY enjoyed out time here. Make sure ypu bring your own firewood. were comfortable
This cabin was a very peaceful and accommodating place that allowed us to do everything we needed. Fireplace, fire pits, hot tub, WiFi, grills, and plenty of sleeping space. We enjoyed the nature around the cabin and the availability of the hosts. This was a very fun trip and we plan to come back.
Great cabin, in a safe, quiet and very secluded location. 35 min from Blue Ridge, GA so still close to things. Great hiking and fishing spots close by off the Toccoa river. The cabin was clean, had all the essentials, and the hot tub was great to end the day. There is also a wood fireplace and a fire pit at the bottom of the property. Amazing stargazing. This was the perfect getaway for my wife and I, our 5 year old son, and our pup!
This little cabin is a real gem. Itâs clean, comfortable, homey. We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub.
The drive from Dahlonega was lovely. A twisty mountain road with spectacular views.
I loved this cabin and hope to return some day.
The cabin was very clean and perfect romantic get away for my husband and I. The communication was absolutely perfect with the rental management company. We loved the directions as they were dead on especially with no cell service. We hope to make it back to the area again in the future.
This was a great house for many reasons. We liked the location, as we wanted to explore both the town of Blue Ridge and Vogel State Park. The binder with info on hikes and such was such a great resource. The kitchen was very well equipped and well organized (even good knives!) which was great as we decided to cook all of our meals on this trip. There was lots of surface area in the kitchen and the bedrooms (we are amazed by how many vacation homes over-decorate and there is no where to put your stuff) and the layout was great. We especially liked the large dining table. We do have suggestions on making it better: the Weber grill needs to be either deep cleaned, or better yet, replaced (the thermostat, for example, doesn't work so we were not able to use it). There isn't really a "green egg" - it is a table top, small red egg grill. The mattresses upstairs probably need to be replaced, especially the twin bed (it was so old/cheap!). And the number listed for after hours/weekend help didn't work or the management contact was not available. It was cold and we needed help with the outdoor fireplace (could not get it open) and the hot tub (it was not very hot and some of the controls were not working). It was a bit disheartening to not have anyone to talk to over the weekend even though communication up to the rental and on the first day (a Friday) was fine.
Great place, nicely decorated and had everything we needed and more. Perfect location for peace and quiet and central to all the local towns and hiking trails.
The cabin was excellent! It was so peaceful and comfortable, exactly what our family was looking for. The host responded quickly to any questions we had and was very thoughtful by giving us a heads-up about finding the place which made it very easy to get to... We arrived after dark, and with pour cell service coming the directions were absolutely needed. The cabin is very secluded, but the host put together a very nice manual that was helpful in understanding the area and knowing what to do. WE CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN!
Everything was in good shape except we could not figure out the grill on the porch. It was raining so we cooked just fine inside. The day hike planners were very helpful!
