The apartment has two double bedrooms, they can be rented both for two people and a maximum of four persons. The distribution is as follows: A double room with balcony, size about 35 square meters with double bed. There is a dining area, a wardrobe and access to the balcony. Furthermore, a separate living room Featuring modern furnishing style with extendable spacious couch and TV, as well as access to the balcony. They have a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet, a small kitchenette with hotplates, a small pizza oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The other double room 30 sqm with picture window (for two persons) is a combined living room and bedroom. It is equipped with a double bed, a sitting area and a wardrobe as well as a pull-out couch and a TV, as well as a radio. WLAN surcharge.

The house is quiet, yet close to the village. Shops, pharmacy, doctors are quickly reachable on foot. Short walkways also provide access to the ski lift, ski trails, Waldbad, numerous hiking trails and restaurants

NO PRIVACY

The owners spoke zero English and did not understand us even with using our interpreter app. They made us buy passes to the hiking trails in the forest even though we told them we had no time to do that. The room was extremely hot so we left the patio door open with a chair in front of it overnight. Sometime in the middle of the night the owner walked in without knocking and closed the door. There is only a slider curtain to the unit that cannot be locked. The only keys given was to the house itself where the owners live downstairs and to one bedroom. The description told us the unit is 2 bedroom and the owners refused to give us the keys to the second bedroom stating we didn't need it. We wanted to use it!! The first night at 9:00 pm the owner used the doorbell to the unit to and requested we turn off the kitchen light. Very unhappy with our stay here.

GemĂŒtliche Wohnung, super kleine KĂŒche

Angenehme Vermieter (wohnen im selben haus, nur durch Glaswand getrennt), tolle Gegend, sehr gemĂŒtliche kleine Wohnung. Aber: sehr kleine KĂŒche. Man kann wenn dann sehr einfache Gerichte kochen, da quasi keine Anrichte und nur zwei kleine Kochplatten. Außerdem ist es zu viert wahrscheinlich schwierig, da es kein grĂ¶ĂŸeres Wohnzimmer gibt und man sich sehr auf der Pelle sitzen wĂŒrde. Zu zweit aber sehr schnuckelig, wir haben uns wohl gefĂŒhlt!

Wir waren fĂŒr ein Wochenende hier zu Gast und sehr zu frieden. Die Wohnung ist gepflegt, die Gastgeber freundlich. Besonders gefallen hat uns das FrĂŒhstĂŒck auf dem sonnigen Balkon mit Blick ĂŒber Schmiedefeld in den ThĂŒringer Wald.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Fewo bei netter Familie

Nette kleine Fewo mit allem was man braucht, unser Hund war willkommen, die Familie sehr nett. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war mit viel Liebe zum Detail.

GemĂŒtliche Ferienwohnung, bei der es an nichts fehlt

Wir verbrachten einen verschneiten Aufenthalt in der gemĂŒtlichen Ferienwohnung der Familie Hohmann. Die Wohnung war sauber und gut ausgestattet, es fehlte uns an nichts. Die Gastgeber waren Ă€ußerst freundliche. Die Lage in Schmiedefeld ist sehr gut. Ein REWE Markt (mit BĂ€cker) und die Touristeninformation sind fußlĂ€ufig erreichbar. Wir sind jeden Tag nach Oberhof zum Biathlon Weltcup gependelt, ein extra eingerichteter Shuttle von Schmiedefeld war ebenfalls zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!
