Nestled among a peaceful canopy of trees, Bourbonhaus is a luxury treehouse retreat designed for those seeking a unique blend of nature, adventure, and upscale comfort. Thoughtfully designed with a moody dark wood interior. Bourbonhaus features a private deck where guests can unwind in the soothing hot tub or gather around a fire pit outfitted with four classic Adirondack chairs. Two plush beach towels are provided for your hot tub experience, and a high-top table with chairs is perfectly positioned next to the Blackstone griddle for open-air dining among the treetops.

Inside, you`ll find a fully equipped kitchen—with everything you need to prepare gourmet meals, including a convection microwave oven (please note, there is no traditional oven). A washer and dryer are also available in the unit for added convenience during longer stays.

Venture outdoors to explore our private, challenging hiking trails that wind through the woods and lead to a tranquil cove along the water’s edge. While this area is currently being revitalized, its natural beauty still shines. Complimentary hiking sticks are available, and we remind guests: the trek down is easier than the climb back up! For those wanting to get on the water, we provide kayaks and life jackets so you can paddle and explore the peaceful surroundings.

Keyless Entry

Welcome to nature!
With that comes a few things outside of our control. While we do spray for bugs, a few may still sneak by—hopefully you’ll only spot them outdoors.

Our driveway is gravel; 4-wheel drive isn’t required, but it can be helpful, especially in wet conditions.

During our first few months, the hiking trails will be open but a bit rough as we continue clearing and improving them.

We kindly ask that you don’t bring aggressive pets. Our friendly 6-year-old lab roams freely when we’re on-site working—she loves meeting new people and is very sweet.
