Great stay at Beach Retreat Coolum. Very nice one bedroom ocean view unit with unobstructed views. Well maintained resort with lovely gardens & pools. Will definitely return.

Room provided the basics, bit dark in general and no windows other than the door to the outdoor area, bit gloomy. Otherwise one of the comfiest beds Ive slept in for a hotel room and spa bath was awesome. The sauna, pools and spa tubs are also a treat.

I got a room with a balcony facing the ocean and with walls either side keeping the balcony warm but not unbearably hot. You can hear the ocean waves while you sleep. The warm has a small mini fridge kettle, dishes for 2. I couldnt het the tv to work but didnt bother me as I spent most of rhe time on the balcony. Everything is in walking distants, didnt need to drive anywhere once I arrived. Staff were friendly and nice.

At the time I arrived the only access was via the garage due to repair work on the stairs. Also my room was not made up. The rooms were tidy clean and the shower water pressure was excellent

Great place to stay big clean room. Nice swimming pool close to many eateries and Public transport which is 50cents per ride bloody bargain. And the beach is right across the road. We will be back.
