Coastguard Cottage is well equipped with all you will need for a fantastic break and is just 4 miles from the sea and sandy beach of Swanage. Here, you will find a wide variety of shops, cafes, bars and more to keep everyone entertained! A day in Swanage is a must during your stay with plenty of events taking place all year round including the Fish Festival, Carnival week, the Jazz and Folk Festivals and the renowned New Years eve celebrations! Treat the family to some delicious local fish and chips and round it all off with a delicious Purbeck Ice Cream!
This spacious semi-detached home is furnished and equipped with your comfort in mind. Nestled off a farm lane, with only the cows as passing traffic, you are guaranteed peace and quiet! Adults and children alike will enjoy the tranquillity and charm of the stunning Dorset countryside. Children will love to see the local farmer and his herd passing, and you may even be lucky enough to watch the cows being milked!
Worth Matravers is a beautiful, quintessentially English village and enjoys a pub, tea rooms with restaurant and a delightful duck pond in the centre. You may also enjoy a walk around "Wood Henge" - locally crafted and great for a photo opportunity! A walk to Chapmans Pool is an absolute must during your stay - you may even like to take a swim if the weather is warm. For the keen walkers among you, why not take a slightly longer adventure along the stunning coastline, passing St Aldhelm's Head on the way?

The ground floor includes shower room, lounge, spacious kitchen and separate dining area, with French doors leading onto the delightful garden and raised terrace. Here you can enjoy alfresco dining or perhaps your morning coffee and newspaper. The mature garden is well maintained and enjoys sea glimpse views from the end.
On the first floor you will find a king size bedroom, twin room and bunk room (2ft6) along with the newly refurbished family bathroom. A second flight of stairs lead to the master suite complete with superking size bed, tv and ensuite shower room. All bedrooms are of a good size and enjoy views over the front and rear garden. Coastguard Cottage provides the perfect base for your family and friends in an idyllic country setting. Why not escape it all and treat your loved ones to a holiday they are sure to remember?
