Publié le 26 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had an absolute great time in the cottage, it had everything we needed. Closeby a great and steep walk (not for small kids), to a desolate swimming place. Just perfect for our family christmas!

A GEM OF PLACE TO UNWIND & RELAX
Publié le 24 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayJacaranda Cottage is a beautifully presented little abode in a quiet and stunning area of Grose Vale. The Host provided just about everything we needed for our weekend away including the wood for our outdoor fire. All instructions and advice provided was absolutely spot on. The nearby national park provided us with a sensational walk down to the river and also a scenic view of the valley itself. The property was very clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities were very suitable. The ambience of the property made our stay most enjoyable. I would most certainly recommend a stay at this cottage or one of the others at Hidden Valley Retreat Cottages.

Good getaway

Lovely place, however there was only a little issue the spa bath never worked, which was a little bit disappointing. But overall it was a great place.

Thank you kindly for your 5 star review Raelene. Really happy to hear you enjoyed our place and location. I'm very sorry the spa jets were not working for you. We took a look and unfortunately it had been switched off at the powerpoint (which is not obvious unless you know the cottage, and also a little confusing to us). Sorry we weren't aware of this to be able to rectify the issue while you were staying. Hopefully you were still able to enjoy a relaxing soak.

Peaceful haven
Publié le 26 août 2023 sur HomeAwaySituated in a hidden valley it is a peaceful place with lovely trees and birds. The property is a great well maintained slab hut with modern facilities. We loved it and will return.

A fabulous getaway cottage

So close to Sydney but you feel a world away.

I would highly recommend this spot if you are seeking some rest and tranquillity..the jacaranda tree in immediate view was captivating .the old rustic log cabin feel of cottage was warming and had all needed amenities. Being able to take our dog Moby to share the experience made it even more special. I will definately return to the property, it was so nice to b hidden in nature.

Publié le 24 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis is a beautiful place. It really is a hidden valley. No mobile/ internet connection/ TV but that just adds to the tranquility. The cabin has a rustic feel but has everything you need including full size fridge. Only 15 minutes from North Richmond.
