We arrived late and staff were very helpful and our flight the next day was not until later in the afternoon so the staff helped us out and locked our bags in the office while we walked to the beach. All the staff were very helpful 10/10. Thank you.

We found the Southend Hotel to be clean and comfy for the nights accommodation we required. Although the pokies were an addition we didn't know we would hear, but only when the balcony door was ajar.

Not a great experience. Checked in after waiting 30 minutes and was told by the yound lad behind the bar ' we were busy ' Didn't even check the hotel counter once in that time so not a great experience to start off with. Basic hotel rooms above a noisy and loud bar. The place is cheap for a reason. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere

Property is not accessible by elderly and disabled people as there is no lift. The wooden staircase is very high being in an old building. The rooms appeared to be recently renovated. The bath and room furniture were very clean. Every things appeared new and well designed. Conveniently located opposite to shops and on top of a club bar.

Nice and affordable place to stay. Comfy bed. Near shops for any supplies e.g. supermarket, bakery. Only experienced one problem on one night. The rooms are not soundproofed, so we could hear a guest in a neighbouring room, with their tv volume very loud, well after midnight.

Mixed review on this one. It’s definitely just a pub with motel rooms. You can hear the pub entertainment from your room. The internet was decent. Checking in was difficult didn’t know where to go, then had to drag luggage up the stairs. The hallways etc were run down and smelly but the room was renovated.

The accommodation was very comfortable; in a convenient location with pleasant, helpful staff. I needed a slightly later check out and it wasn’t a problem for them. If I need accommodation in Maroubra again I wouldn’t hesitate.

The room was quiet and beautifully renovated, A nice little balcony to have a coffee and enjoy a little view of the surrounding suburbs and city in the distance. The shower pressure was indulgent ❤️ and my favourite part of the room. Our beds were really comfortable and not too soft. Easy parking, convenient shops nearby and we enjoyed an Irish inspired dinner at the pub downstairs. The beach was a 2 min drive away. Would absolutely recommend staying here and we will definitely be again.

Only stayed for 1 night. Access to Public transport was a major factor in our decision to stay here. 350 bus from the airport got us to Maroubra Beach and a quick connection on the 375 got us to the South End. Brd was very comfortable & the room facilities were more than adequate.
