Great location, staff were friendly. Had an adjoining room which wasnt really sound proof. Received my free bottle of wine for being a gold member however upgrade was available at an additional cost so didn’t take up the offer. Nice hotel though.

If you like sleeping on the equivalent of a wooden door then this is the place for you. Also check the price of your parking (go to the parking station and put your ticket in the machine to see what the total cost is BEFORE you pay the hotel their “special reduced rate” which they have negotiated with the parking ppl. I paid $78 for 2 nights parking at the hotel reception but when I put my ticket in the machine at the parking station the amount owed was only $50. Ensure that you ask for a regular room with a walk in shower - some rooms are still the old ones with the shower over the bathtub which can cause problems

Was a very average stay, for what we paid the room was very basic and the bathroom needed upgrading,we did have a view out onto the street but the windows were very dirty.Unfortunately our room was right across from the lift which meant you heard voices all through the night and early morning when people were leaving.There is also a hotel across the road that was playing live music on the Saturday night so you could hear that. The people in the room next to us were extremely noisy, coming and going with the door banging and loud voices till 2am, we did ring reception to let them know. The only real plus was that it was located near Museum Station and we could walk to the SCG.

Lively location

The lobby/reception were lovely with complimentary cucumber water and there’s a nice bar near the elevators. The room was a bit snug but the beds were comfy. The location was exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and night life.
