REQUIRED COUNTY STR PERMIT INFORMATION: STR 22-6952 | TOT #11837 | Max Occupancy is 9 | 4 Parking Spaces. Parking on the street is strictly prohibited. All vehicles must be parked in the driveway and/or garage at all times. Guest must agree to read and comply with Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies.
County Rules As part of the Short-Term Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.
Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.
Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time.
Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night.
Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Daysâwhen fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high windsâall outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone's safety. It is each guest's responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you'll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.
Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it's essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chainsâeven if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel. Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.
Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.
Office Holiday Hours The TTVR office is closed on New Year's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.
We found this to be a perfect place to stay! The house was very clean and comfortable and exactly as described/pictured on Vrbo. The view was even more beautiful than the pictures. Our group ranged in age from 53-80, so we had been concerned about the stairs, but they were not a problem for us. We also liked the location of the house (away from South Lake Tahoe's traffic). The management company was very responsive to questions and clear with their instructions; they made everything very easy for us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The views from the balcony were amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful outside. The home had everything we needed. It was close to Tahoe city for dining and outdoor activities. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Loved the deck most of all - we sat out there every morning with our coffee, and some afternoons and evenings with an aperitif. Very comfortable and accommodating home and we really hope to stay there again. Overall experience was wonderful!
Everything was as expected, even better. Beds very comfortable.
Lots of up and down stairs, so if there are older people keep that in mind.
Home was fully stocked with everything you would need.
We truly enjoyed our stay
My family & I almost spent a week here @Twin Peaks. This home did not disappoint, very homey, clean and well stocked. Everyone had their own room with on suite bathrooms. The outdoor area had a huge grass area, swings and a slide which was a plus for the dog and grandkids :)
I can't say enough about the amazing views, Spectacular!
This was probably one of our best family vacations!
My boyfriend and I spent a week at Verbier View, and whole-heartedly agree this was one of our most favorite vacation rentals!
Our dog Alabama was with us, and we were joined by a few friends and their 6yr old daughter â the slide and swings were a huge hit :)
The house was clean, well taken care of, well-stocked, and beautiful. We all felt right at home!
And the VIEWS!!! Stunning!
Great hikes nearby â one at the top of the mountain, and others off of Pineland along the streams.
Hosts were friendly and responsive :)
We hope to stay again!
We loved our stay here. There was a bathroom for every bedroom, the common rooms were comfortable and big, and the deck was amazing. Beautiful views. Plus it was only a 15 minute drive to Tahoe City. Will definitely stay here again.
I cannot express how perfectly stocked/equipped this house was. The weather turned to overcast/cold the week leading up to our long weekend stay so we had to change our plans. The house was perfectly equipped with enough kitchen tools and amenities to accommodate our plans to stay inside and enjoy some board games and family dinners. Aside from the dishwasher not working, it was a perfect stay. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!
Verbier View was exactly as advertised...a beautiful, well-maintained, well-stocked mountain retreat with gorgeous views. It was perfect for our family of four plus a visiting grandparent. It is conveniently located about 10 minutes up the valley from all the amenities in Tahoe City, and within an hour's drive of just about anything you'd want to do in the Lake Tahoe region....beaches, kayaking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, boat cruises, etc. There are lots of opportunities for hiking and walking right out the front door. The home is well laid-out, as you walk in on the main living floor with an ample gear storage area and a nice open concept kitchen/living/dining area and full bathroom. The three main bedrooms are one floor down, each with a well-appointed full bathroom. There is one more bedroom on the uppermost floor, but it does not have a bathroom (great for teens who want their privacy) and gets a little stuffy in the summer. The kitchen is very well-stocked and laid out well for cooking at home. The little hot tub was also fun (max 4 adults). While the smoke from the summer wildfires significantly impaired the air quality and views during our stay, we could tell it was a spectacular spot and we were still able to make the best of our visit. We would come back!
My husband, son and two dogs loved our stay at this home. The house was just as described. I have never stayed in a home where the kitchen was so well equipped. The view is incredible. There is a nice grassy area in the back. We will definitely return.
The property was very clean and gorgeous. The views were amazing and lots of parking. The only down fall is itâs not for folks who canât walk up and down stairs or disabled folks.
Lovely, clean, well-stocked and beautiful views! Remote and peaceful, close to hiking trails and quiet and friendly neighborhood. Really enjoyed our stay with our family of seven people. Only downside was two separate power outages lasting several hours each. Canât be predicted or helped, necessarily, and we made the most of the time to be together and enjoy our surroundings. And our dog had a great time, too!
Fantastic retreat!!! I would like to buy it please! No really....
My whole family went up for a week brought some of the teens friends and we just fell in love with the location and house...all the usually activities around Tahoe, did the Twin Peaks hike right from the door. Hot tub was spectacular. At first we weren't sure with all the levels but it turned out perfect, gave everyone that little bit of privacy needed...simply the best rental we've done in Tahoe...we'll be back, but looks booked for months now....thank you Stacey and to the Owner for a perfect experience! Take Care, Ryan Shea
We had a great stay here. Hiked out the front door and into the mountains came home and had everything we couldâve asked for in the house. Close enough to town and far enough for quiet. Beautiful views every morning and night. Great vacation.
This home was perfect for our family and we had plenty of space to settle in and enjoy the surroundings. The home had everything we needed to relax and soak in the views of large trees all around and a glimpse of Lake Tahoe in the distance.
Waking up with a cup of coffee and watching the sun rise over the trees was amazing It was a short ride in to town for groceries, great restaurants, and plenty of access to activities. This home was exactly what we wanted and helped make our vacation the best it could be. The owners/property managers were great to work with to get set up and they were very responsive with our questions before we arrived.
I highly recommend this property - you will not be disappointed!!
Our stay here was one of the most memorable weâve ever had. The property is gorgeous and probably the best appointed rental property that weâve experienced. Everything was exactly as pictured and beyond our expectations. We will definitely be back next summer!
The views from the house are incredible. It is close to Sunnyside and not far from
Tahoe City, which makes it very convenient. The house was very clean and well maintained. It also seemed to have just about everything, which was great.
