The telephone cable was visibly dirty, which makes it seem like they don’t clean or sanitize it at all. However, the staff are very nice and genuinely helpful. They go out of their way to assist you, which I really appreciated.

Taichung Trip

Overall very good. Great location and service. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Right next to Sogo, Watsons, and Family Mart. Close to Caligraphy Park and lots of places to eat nearby. They also have easy to use washer and dryer for NT50. Great place, will stay here again on our next trip, and recommend this hotel.

We booked a 12 night stay at this hotel over Christmas. Overall, the location is fantastic and the front desk staff are great. The staff tried its best to help me with any issues encountered. The biggest negative with the hotel is the cleanliness and lack of amenities. The hotel room carpets are stained and windows look dirty which lead to an overall impression that the room isn't clean. I also saw a very large dead cockroach stuck to the exterior walls of the elevator shaft which was a huge turn-off for me. The building the hotel is located is also shared with many different businesses. Which mean that non-hotel guests can access hotel room floors which is a security concern for me. Filtered water dispensers are not located on all the hotel floors. But bottled water is provided by the hotel. The hot water kettle provided in our first hotel room was also made of plastic which I was hesitant to use given the high risk of microplastics or melted plastic exposure. The free breakfast provided by the hotel was good. They had hot buffet style foods. The selection was not large, but adequate and had some fresh fruit also (mainly watermelon and pineapple slices). As an Expedia VIP member, I was also given a 324NT food credit to use. However, as the hotel does not have a restaurant, we had to use the credit at a designated restaurant. When we went to use the credit, the restaurant informed us that we had to buy something in order to use the credit which is not right.

Convenient and clean

The first room they assigned was with a strong sewer smell that I have to request for a different room. They did let me move to another room which smell much better. They do offer parking in the basement which is very convenient. Also the location os right across from a shopping mall with several restaurants.
