The onsen in room, attentive service and beautiful gardening are highlights of the stay. The lunch choice is rather limited and I wish there was a bathroom at the onsen level in the room as well.

A beautiful and peaceful stay. From the drivers who picked us up and dropped use back to Taichung. To every single staff member at hoshinoya that we encountered all were courteous and super helpful. The room and amenities were great and the garden was our favourite thing, from the deck outside the library especially in the evening watching the birds was so relaxing. What a lovely place to spend some quiet time to relax.
Wandering in through the garden you’ll find many small delights
On the library deck in the evening we watch the garden transform to and fair land as the lights come on at dusk, beautiful!
