The property is overall nice and the staffs were courteous, but it is too far from the closest train station. We found ourselves taking a cab on multiple occasions to get to our hotel from the nearest train station.

A decent place to stay

One of the better value hotels in the area, though some of the rooms have a lingering cigarette smell. The free breakfast is good, and there is free parking too. The rooms are larger than normal and are clean.

"Non-smoking" rooms still very smokey

The big problem with this hotel was that my "non-smoking" room was filled with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. Even the pillows smelled of old smoke. It was absolutely sickening. When I requested to be transferred to a non-smoking room as my reservation indicated, the staff informed me that they would sweep the floors and install an air filter (this was not done.) Over my 4-night stay, the air gradually grew fresher as I was able to open the window.

Friendly staff. Rooms are clean in general. The only problem was shower. The room we stayed in had a big bathtub and small shower. The shower room was narrow, even if we had closed the shower door properly, water leaked out making the whole bathroom floor wet. But other than that we were happy with the stay.

Although the hotel has a no smoking policy, it is common to have a smokey room. Laundry room offers free detergent, wash, and drying, yet is located in first floor men's room (no door, just 1 urinal). Continental breakfast 7 to 9:30 with both a estern and Asian cuisines. There were lots of mosquitoes, even around winter, so make sure not to open the windows as some room windows have no screens. 15 to 20 min walk to/from Zhishan Mrt, and close to Takashima, Sogo, and ShinKong Mitsukoshi. Hotel located right past corner of 7 Eleven at beginning of street. Convenient location.

A fine hotel for the price

A fine hotel for the price. The rooms are newly renovated, and the location is good if you have business in the area. The breakfast is okay, but is free so it's to be expected.
