Great location great staff old decor

The only problem was that our room was a little smelly because of a little problem with flushing toilet.we took three rooms and the other two were great .the problem was not bad enough for us to bother to ask to change rooms

Great hotel. We stayed in Taipei for 4 days, and this hotel worked wonderful for our needs. Central location, AC, and we even had 2 large twins together that made it a king bed. A small refrigerator in the room, and we asked for ice once a day, which they were happy to help with. Very clean hotel, we were very impressed with our stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Convenient location for Ningxia market, not far from main station, Dihua old street and the hop on hop off bus if you are interested in that.

The staff were nice, polite, and helpful. Since there are two separate buildings side by side and one of them has no staff stationed there, it was a little confusing when we checked in. Housekeeping was properly done. However, as the building is old, it was still quite dusty, to the point that it triggered my allergic reaction.

Really nice place. Would stay again. Very nice room in the Royal building. Only suggestion for improvement about the facilities is that the thermostat was hard to manage. The workout room also seemed to smell funny.
