Good hotel, but is not all it promises

Good hotel on the beach with a pool close for easy access. Room was in OK shape, but theres a lot of stairs where ever you wanna go and you can see that some rooms seems to be a bit out of shape in parts of the hotel. Furthest down on the beach so quite, but the thing about Adults Only is a lie as there where children in the pool sometimes.

Schöne Unterkunft mit ausreichend Parkplätzen. Zimmer top und sogar Bad recht neu. Bei uns Waren ausreichend Liegen am Strand verfügbar. Einen Stern Abzug aufgrund des unmotivierten Personals im Restaurant und es gibt besseres Essen in der Strandbar (A… irgendwas) 2 Hotels weiter. Tolle günstige Massagen direkt am Hotelstrand (die günstigsten an dem Strand). Strand generell sehr schön dort und perfekt zum Baden auch bei Ebbe. Es ist sehr ruhig wer Abends etwas machen möchte braucht ein Auto, Roller oder muss für ca 5 € (Hin und zurück) zu dem Markt fahren der Montag, Mittwoch und Donnerstag ist… laufen in den nächsten Ort ist weit

Hotellet er fremstår lidt "brugt" = der er brug for vedligehold. Der er ingen morgenmadsbuffet. Rigtig mange af hotellets gæster - også os - spiste morgenmadsbuffet på nabohotellet. Ellers ligger hotellet jo fantastisk for enden af den lange strand ved KhaoLak, og der er strand selv ved højvande.

Rauhallinen paikka omalla rannalla.

Rauhallinen paikka viettää aikaa rannalla. Matkaa jonkin verran ”keskustaan,” kävelymatkan päässä. Meillä huoneesta hieno merinäköala. Rannalla on n 200m päässä erinomainen ja edullinen lounas/illalliskuppila. Itse hotelli vaatisi pientä fixiä, mutta hinta/ laatusuhde erinomainen. Jos menemme toiste noille kulmille niin valinta on todennäköisesti ko hotelli.

EIN JAHR SPÄTER UND WIEDER IN KHAO LAK SUNSET RESORT EINGECHECKT--- Alle Zimmer haben immer noch Meerblick! Der Strandabschnitt ist sehr Romantisch und verwinkelt,PERFEKT! Das Personal ist weiterhin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, DANKE! Das Frühstück ist nicht im Preis inbegriffen, man konnte es aber im Restaurant bestellen. TIP: Als Getränk Latte Ice bestellen und auch als Frühstück "Club Sandwich" Sehr Lecker. Aufgrund einer Fehlbuchung konnte ich auch unser Zimmer vom Vorjahr nachträglich mit einen Aufschlag von 200 THB/Tag ohne Probleme nachbuchen! Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Service

heerlijke locatie, direct op het strand.

fantastisch resort op een droomplek, maar wel hier en daar toe aan een opknapbeurt. Ik has op voorhand een kamer op de bgg geboekt, dus konden we vanuit de kamer via ons terrasje direct het strand op, 25 meter naar de gratis sunbeds en nog 30-60 meter en je liep zo de zee in. Alleen zou het management eens moeten kijken naar de situatie rond het ontbijt en het restaurant, want dat was een droeve zaak. Ontbijt kan echt beter b.v. middels een beperkt buffet en wat slimmere bediening, terwijl het restaurant door vrijwel niemn gebruikt werd, en dt is echt een gemiste kans. Maar wij hebben daar een heerlijke week gehad voor een superleuke prijs!

Khaolak Sunset Resort---perfektes Preis-Leistung

Alles Zimmer haben Meerblick, TOP! Der Strandabschnitt ist sehr Romantisch und verwinkelt,PERFEKT! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, DANKE! Das Frühstück war nicht im Preis inbegriffen, man konnte es aber im Restaurant bestellen. Ein wenig einseitig, ist aber i.O. FAZIT: Aufgrund Corona sind viele Menschen arbeitslos geworden und mussten sich andere Jobs suchen. Jetzt kommen wir (Touristen) zurück und es fehlt vielen Betreibern geschultem Personal. Ein wenig Verständnis und schon macht der Urlaub Spaß. Auf jeden Fall ist das das Sunset Resort wieder auf unsere Reiseliste!

Es ist alles da was man braucht und im guten Zustand. Wunderschöner Strandabschnitt der sich auch sehr gut zum schwimmen eignet. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich genug um auch mehrere Wochen damit klar zu kommen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Ein wunderschöner Strand und es ist sehr ruhig. Man ist aber auch gleich in der Stadt. Unser Zimmer war geräumig. Man erhält täglich frische Strandtücher. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Das einzige das ich bekritteln kann, ist das Personal im dazugehörigen Lemongrass Restaurant. Sie sind alle sehr bemüht und freundlich, sprechen nur leider wenig bis gar kein Englisch.

Hotellet ligger mycket fint och har en underbar strand precis nedanför. Det är mycket trappor om man som vi hamnar på översta våningen. Personalen är trevlig och vill väl men speciellt i restaurangen så talar de inte så bra engelska så det blir ofta missförstånd. Men vi trivdes bra kan gärna komma tillbaka igen

We were on our Anniversary. I called the property on several occasions to arrange something special for our anniversary and the staff finally asked me to send a message to the MOD or Manager who was never on duty. Mr. JEROSAK. My original message was sent 9 days before arrival and than again 3 days before. No response. Although the front desk staff tried hard to accomadate us and were very kind. We finally after our day of arrival were able to contact the Manager. We were advised that they don't do anything for someones anniversary other than set a table with fake flowers in the smoking section front row to the beach. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone whom has any special needs. I stayed at the Sunset many years ago and dont remember such poor service

Wir waren schon das dritte mal im Sunset. Es ist von der Lage her ein sehr schönes Hotel, man könnte aber mehr draus machen. Es gibt einige Ecken die geflickt (repariert) werden müssten. Man könnte auch mal die Terrassen vom Zimmer ein bisschen aufhübschen. Aber wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder, es sind ja nur Kleinigkeiten!
