Clean big room, massive shower/bathroom, great balcony looking out to the ocean and little chipmunks playing in the tree. Sunny restaurant was terrible, very poor breakfast and ants all over the table, very poor customer service also. Had 2 beers at the beach bar then went to go to the bathroom but it was locked with no staff in sight. They had all left without saying a word. Can understand it was off season but communication would have been nice. Otherwise nice hotel and worth the price.

Awesome for everything but the bed

Everything was amazing except for the uncomfortable bed. It’s hard as a rock. But the pools, beach access, staff, location and everything else was top notch. We enjoyed our stay.

Very expensive for what you got

Old hotel, bad managment on the restorant/bar and pool side. Breakfast not very good, beach side old and badly mantained. Big room. OK when is half empty, otherwise very noisy and the service go to hell !

We liked it a lot

We liked it a lot. Rooms spacious, bit dated but done to good standart, nice wood etc. Everything worked well, good shower. Very nice location and surroundings- 2 pools- not busy at all, very quiet, nice trees etc. Breakfast on beach restaurant- buffet bit limited, but make great omelette to order, plenty of nice fruit, nice food in the same beach restaurant for dinner too! Located across quiet road from essentially private beach with no rocks in the water- we did night swimming. 5 min walk to shopping/restaurant street. Just note that receptionist English may be bit limited. Recommended!

A great hotel on Bang Biang beach

The best things about this hotel are the gardens and swimming pools, beautiful, the pool is one of the best I have seen. Plenty of birds around. The beach is also good for Bang Niang. All the hotels here have built up sea walls protection against sea corrosion, which is necerssary, but spoils the the vibe a little. But free sunbeds in natural shady area is a bonus. Breakfast is excellent, the restaurant has very good Thai food and great service. All staff are very friendly. Good value for money.

Decent, but that's about ir

Only guests in the hotel which wasn't a bad thing really, but you'd expect the resteraunt to stay open later than 7pm for room service. The paid for wi-fi was awful, dropping out all of the time and very slow, not worth the money whatsoever. Trying to order room service even during the day was a real pain, good location and great room, but a lot needs improving.

Nice hotel with access all day long to the beach

We stayed there for two weeks and this place was great because you can access to the beach no matter of the tides. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a large choice of meals. The room is large and clean.

1 night was enough

The room we stayed in was off of a balcony walkway in a large block which was very dated and in need of repainting. Don't get me wrong while we did not like this hotel the room we stayed in was cheap about £53 per night through Hotels.com. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete floor and the air con was loud and ineffective. There are thousands of mosquito's in the breakfast area. Birds were flying in and eating the bread set out for breakfast. We only stayed one night. There are hotels just to the north of Khao Lak that are far nicer than this one.

The hotel you stay at when you're not staying!

We were very disappointed to discover that this hotel double booked and we were sent to a neighboring place. I had spent hours searching the Internet looking for a little bungalow. This one seemed just the spot but it was divided into little bungalows and also a. Big resort. It doesn't ruin your holiday but you can't help wondering what your choice would've been like.
