The room looked nice but it was very damp and had a really strong smell of mildew. It was not tolerable the hallway leading to room felt damp as well and had a smell as well but the room was stinky. We did not stay and are hoping Travelocity can get us a refund. The manager won’t be in until Monday so we will see. I do not recommend this place at all.

Surprisingly Great Stay with Amazing Service

A buddy sent me a link to BOB Hotel in Tallahassee when my family had to travel for my daughter’s school event. I was honestly shocked at the price per night, super affordable. My wife was skeptical (understandably), since she'd never heard of it and thought the low price might mean a sketchy experience. When we pulled up, I won’t lie, the outside looked like an older building with some modern touches. But once we stepped inside, it was a totally different story. The place was inviting, and the staff were amazing right off the bat. Chasity at the front desk was awesome, super friendly and helpful with all our questions. Then I noticed a legit espresso machine at check-in (I’m a bit of a coffee nerd), and that’s how I met Cameron, the GM. This guy knows what he's doing with that machine and running the hotel. He gave five-star service with every interaction. At one point, he was running the whole hotel by himself. Honestly some of the best hospitality I’ve had anywhere. The rooms were clean and comfy, on the smaller side, and the bathroom was a bit tight, but totally fine for me. My wife prefers more space, but I had to remind her we weren’t paying over $150 a night! For what we spent, the value was unbeatable. I’d 100% stay at BOB Hotel again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay on a budget.

The GM was amazing as well as all the staff. All so friendly and felt like the team enjoyed working here making it even better for the guest experience as they genuinely cared about my visit. Highly recommend l!
