Great Location in the city center, everything is a walking distance from the hotel. Old town is across the street, even the ferry terminal is a walking distance from the hotel.

A great place to say

We stayed six nights at this hotel, which is centrally located. We had a junior twin room on the last floor, with a great view. It was spacious, comfy, very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were very polite, professional and helpful. There were A LOT of options to chose from for breakfast. We would not hesitate staying at this hotel in the future, and we have no problem recommending it.

Great stay at Original Sokos Hotel Viru. The staff were friendly, everything was clean, and the restaurants and café were very good. Best of all, it’s right next to Tallinn’s Old Town—perfect location and very walkable. Highly recommend!

Central location which is easy to reach the old town. Even though the hotel was renovated, there is a sad feeling that this building is very old with wall scratches, mold in the bathroom, and patches all over the place.

The Front Desk Manager, Mr. Karmo Haavik, was fantastic! He was professional yet relatable, and sincerely interested in who we are as travelers and hotel guests (without being intrusive). We really enjoyed talking to him and he gave us great tips about the nearby places and events to enjoy. He really was wonderful! Thank you so much for such a lovely, memorable stay. Great location...time for an update!!!

Love the location..have stayed there several times over the years, BUT...it's time to update the rooms, furniture and fixtures included. They have not hardly changed since my first visit in. 1974 !!!
