It was extremely noisy and not at all comfortable. I had to run the extremely loud fan all night to drown out the music in the lobby and noise of other guests. There were slats on the two windows that had to be closed all the way to avoid other guests walking by seeing into the room. The lighting was very poor. I felt like I had rented a cave. The lobby is quaint and the restaurant is ok, but I would not stay here again.

Such a beautiful place, and in the middle of everything Taos has to offer! Cafes, restaurants, and shopping are very walkable, and it's a short drive to Taos Pueblo.

Historic building, lived the experience

Historic says it all. We loved it, but now what you are getting before you book. Small basic room (double bed), they have other options. Live music every night in the lobby. Across the street from the main shopping and dining section of Taos.

Great location. Close to shopping. You may like that it is pet friendly. Apparently all rooms allow pets. I was assured the room we rented was super clean as I am allergic to dogs. I was very unhappy that there were pee stains in the carpet - gave me the creeps. Also, the floor was uneven.
