Parlay at Sunset is a large 5 Bedroom (sleeps 11), 3 Bathroom beachfront vacation rental on the beautiful island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Located on the calm, clear waters of Eleuthera's Caribbean side you can spend hours playing on the beach, snorkeling in the clear shallow waters or just soaking in the warm Bahamian sunshine. The beach at Parlay at Sunset is absolutely stunning. The usually calm 'Caribbean' blue waters are perfect for kayaking, snorkeling and diving. The sandy beach is miles long and filled with amazing seashells, large and small, all waiting to be collected and treasured.

We loved staying at this home on Eleuthera. The house was spacious, with a beautiful outdoor sun room to hang out in. The beach is right in your backyard, with plenty of amazing water sport equipment to use. My family of 11 (including 1 4 year old) had a great family vacation stop here. Perfect place to relax!

We enjoyed our stay at Parlay Christmas week. We are a family of 6 adults, and 9, 4, 2 year olds and 6 month old. The space was clean, plenty of towels, lots of dishware, even a Christmas tree:). Our littles enjoyed the playroom. The Roku allowed us to log into our own Netflix and Prime. The house front on a main street with some traffic so we were careful the kids did not use the front door. The backyard was gorgeous! Sand and sun, lots of lounge chairs. A few beach toys. Bring water shoes for all because during low tide the beach is 5 feet of coral before sand. When the tide comes up, the littles could wade shoeless along the shore. Enjoyed the kayaks, life jackets, and snorkel gear. We drove an hour and 15 minutes to visit the Glass Window Bridge, which was cool and included a stop at Queens Bath, then lunch at the little roadside Delish Roadside restaurant, which was nice, but wow the food in the Bahamas is expensive. Every restaurant charges 15% tip plus 10% VAT on top of menu price. So glad we packed meat for three meals and lots of dry goods. The no-seeums are a force to be reckoned with, so glad we brought picaridin wipes and Deep Woods. Shop at Duty Free in Nassau for liquor - half the price of island booze. Got the rest and decompression we needed! hope we can return to explore the island more.

We were a group of 5 senior women spending a week in Parley at Sunset. Beautiful house, looked like the photos in the listing. The setting is great. We spent a lot of time in the water - you do NEED water shoes as there are some rocks and lots of shells which you want protection for. It's a great place if you're into shelling, as there are lots of them. The kitchen was ultra stocked in kitchenware and there were lots of towels, snorkling equipment, extra water shoes, but sprays, etc. The Bahama Room was by far the best room of the house. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation you won't want to leave.

Ein Traumurlaub auf Eleuthera – absolut perfekt!Wir (zwei Familien mit insgesamt 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern) haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem traumhaften Haus direkt am Strand verbracht – und hĂ€tten es nicht besser treffen können! Die Lage ist einfach perfekt: zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig, mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht und einem wunderschönen Strand direkt vor der TĂŒr.Das Wasser war ideal zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln – wir konnten viele Tiere beobachten und die Natur hautnah genießen. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der Ausstattung fĂŒr WasseraktivitĂ€ten: Kajaks, Stand-up-Paddle-Boards und vieles mehr – alles da, um jeden Tag etwas Neues zu erleben.Auch das Haus selbst ließ keine WĂŒnsche offen. Die KĂŒche war top ausgestattet – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt, sodass wir gemeinsam mit viel Freude kochen konnten. Die Schlafzimmer waren super gemĂŒtlich und hochwertig eingerichtet, wir haben alle wunderbar geschlafen.Alles in allem war dieser Aufenthalt fĂŒr uns einfach perfekt – wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wie zu Hause gefĂŒhlt. Der Kontakt mit Diana war ebenfalls hervorragend: schnelle Antworten, super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschrĂ€nkt weiterempfehlen!

I ve Travelled to the Bahamas more than 45 times. I stopped counting at 45. I’ve never stayed in really large property with more than 3 Bedrooms This Property was an excellent choice as it will be for Everyone who chooses this property. I chose this property because of a last minute Gathering for family, The Amount of space, rooms , Bathrooms, outdoor space,Living space, water tanks and Listen up ,A Generator which is the most important thing you need on an out island in the Bahamas. As you can Hear it kick in numerous times , so when you see the clocks time is off that is why just leave them ,but The Generator worked perfectly is a perfect place to be trust.Unfortunately with the US government s foolishness at airports was the overwhelming reason a lot of people didn’t join us.we truly Enjoyed the time there. A Perfect Escape!

**Parkay at Sunset - A Perfect Escape!**This was our second stay at Parlay at Sunset, and it was every bit as amazing as the first. The house is perfectly situated with a beach right in the backyard, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling, critter hunting at night, or simply relaxing by the water. The sunsets here are nothing short of magical – the view of the water almost looks like liquid glass.The property is well-equipped with everything you need. The generator is a AWESOME feature, ensuring we never had to worry about power. The house was spotless, and Diana and Charles were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.It’s conveniently located near a large grocery store in Rock Sound, and a smaller one in Tarpum Bay, so stocking up on essentials is easy. Plus, the dock is a great spot for fresh fish—perfect for cooking up a meal in the fully stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook at home.It’s just a short 30-minute drive to Pascal's, where you can enjoy a swim-up pool bar and a beautiful beach – we visited multiple times during our trip. And definitely don’t miss the stargazing at night – it’s truly mind-blowing!Before you leave, be sure to pick up a straw hat from Stevie in Tarpum Bay—it's a perfect souvenir.The South Side of Eleuthera has so much to offer, and this property is a perfect base to explore it all. Highly recommend! We will be booking again next summer!

Nice, big home steps from the beach. Very clean. Had everything we needed including beach towels and gear. Never had a chance to snorkel at the house but there are many opportunities around the island to snorkel.There were only 4 of us in the house so we had plenty of space to spread out. The caretaker, although we never met him, was very helpful.Make sure you know how to use WhatsApp as it is widely used on the island. very helpful.

Great stay in Tarpum Bay

We absolutely loved our stay at Parlay at Sunset! The house was great! Loved the layout, the recent updates and amenities in the house. The beach is great! It’s better at high tide when the rocks are covered as you walk in but once you get past them, it is smooth and beautiful! You can walk out pretty far before it even touches your waist. The sunsets there are gorgeous! Definitely take bug spray though! The little “no see ‘ems” are all over the island at night. I’ve stayed at a few places and always had them. Any issues we had with the house were promptly taken care of by the house manager, Charles, or the house owner, Diana. I appreciate both of them for their prompt responses and follow up communication. We used several vendors the house owner recommended and I am so glad we did. All were wonderful! I would definitely stay here again!

Me and my family (9 in all) visited Parlay at Sunset for a week and everything was amazing! Diana provides so much good information before your stay and it was all very helpful. Check in was easy and communication with Diana and the property manager Charles was always prompt. The house is upgraded and has everything you could need. We had 9 adults but the house still felt spacious and open and never cramped. The beach is awesome and everything you could want. Sprawling powdery sand with lots of lounge chairs, tables and shade under the gazebo. The swimming area is pristine with a mix of rock and sand in various layers which made it nice for swimming and for snorkeling. We saw a few rays, lobster, fish, conch, jellyfish, squid, starfish, etc, it was magical. We also happened to be there during Homecoming so we met so many nice people in Tarpum Bay and Rock Sound. Can't wait to go back!

Grateful for Parlay at Sunset

Few properties anticipate vacationers' needs as thoroughly as this one. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beach area was like a mini resort, the property manager was available to us and handled any issues quickly, its proximity to Tarpum Bay helped us meet wonderful people and get fresh fish, lobster, and conch salad, and the small market in town met our needs. Children are clearly welcomed here with a clean, charming play area. They even had enough laundry hampers and towels for a large, busy family. Just remember to bring water shoes and your insect repellent of choice--you will likely need these wherever you go in Eleuthera anyway. Such wonderful memories were made!

Tarpon Bay Beach Paradise

The property was so beautiful and made you never want to leave! We enjoyed snorkeling in the crystal clear water right outside the backdoor and stargazing under the clear starlit sky while listening to the waves crash just feet from us. We could not have asked for a more peaceful and serene place to be! Diana the owner and Charles the property manager were so kind and helpful the entire trip from start to finish which made a perfect experience even better than we could have ever imagined. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect seclusion!

This place was fantastic, so much space. Excellent communication! We absolutely love the amenities, and please read the brochure. There are so many wonderful add-ons, we enjoyed catering delivery from cocojo’s, arriving late on the island, having food drinks, and then concierge grocery delivery from the marketplace. What a wonderful way to show up. The beach is a bit rocky, but they provide all kinds of water shoes, but if you have your own, bring them! we saw conch, all kinds of wonderful fish, so many starfish, and sand dollars. Please respect this beautiful place. Don’t bring any of those creatures out of the water, observe, but don’t take! You can walk miles in any direction and not even see a human, this place is so beautifully remote, but yet only 15 minutes from the rock sound airport. This is the epitome of convenience yet seclusion. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! oh, and there is this fantastic dog that comes around, I don’t know if she’s stray, but she 100% is the friendliest most amazing dog, we bought several cans of dog food while there to feed her, she is a wonderful companion to hang out with, and would love some snuggles, please give her some!

Nice get away

We stayed at Parlay at Sunset 11/12-11/17. The home is huge and beautiful! I was almost sad we had such a large space for 3 people... almost! The yard and beach are gorgeous!We never saw anyone else on the "private" beach. Charles made sure we were well taken care of and even brought us homemade punch and rum! We will be back!!

Chilling at Parlay on Sunset in Eleuthra

Perfectly location on a secluded beach and right off the Queens Highway. We enjoyed sunset evenings in the gazebo & the calm blue waters. Liked that the bedrooms are on either side of the living area. Note that there are no immediate neighbours and plan to shop for meals or eat out at one of the local restaurants. Our host Diana and property manager Charles were very responsive and accommodating. Be sure to read the house book for tips about places to eat and visit. Hifhly recommend staying at Parlay! Parlay at Sunset

Parlay at Sunset was a great stay. There were a few minor hiccups from the previous renters, but Charles the property manager took care of things within a timely manner. We had a wonderful stay, and the private beach area was serene and blissful. My family had fun shell hunting. I recommend Parlay at Sunset for your Tarpum Bay stay.

Quiet,tranquil, your very own private beach. Close to Rock Sound airport. Close to groceries. Love all the locals and Eleuthera Tours with Captain Donald is a must. Our second time there and sure to be more. Charles was great and quick with all of our needs. Love,love this place!!!

Amazing 8 Day Stay

We had a group of 11 of us stay at Parlay @ Sunset. We had such an amazing stay. We loved the beautiful beach!!! We loved the outdoor shower and the screened in back porch. We had plenty of room to spread out! We loved having two washers and dryers. We had everything we needed for our cooking purposes! We had an issue with water pressure, but the host was quick to respond. We loved our stay and would definitely come back to this house and beautiful island!

Fantastic Vacation!

This property is amazing and we had NO disappointments! The beds were comfortable and felt like home versus a hotel bed. The kitchen had almost every appliance you could want to help prep meals. The Screenroom was our favorite place to take our meals. We spent most of our week kayaking and snorkeling off the beach outside the house. There is so much wildlife right in the water right off the shore. We will cherish this trip and hope to return to Parlay at Sunset!
