Mountainside Inn is Telluride's most affordable property, conveniently located along the San Miguel River and just 200 yards to lift #7!

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*

The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building.

This kitchenette room provides you with a two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, and the pans and dishes you need to complete any meal. The queen bed and twin bed are all in the same room. The bathroom has a large exterior vanity area and a step-in shower.

Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.

The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.

Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Two dog limit.

Pretty Good for the Price

Room was as advertised. Pretty tight but reasonable. Surprising it had a kitchenette but we didn’t use the electric stovetop. Took a couple tries to get to the public parking next door but it worked out well once we figured it out. The skiing was pretty much walk on to a small lift. I would consider staying here again if budget is an issue. Telluride is so darn beautiful, but so darn expensive.

Great spot for pups

So close to everything including the river, the gondola, great restaurants, highly recommended for when you are in telluride. The only other thing I recommend is to bring your own coffee

Stayed for two nights - loved the proximity to the river path, gondola and downtown area. Room was as described, clean, and a great place to crash after a long day of adventures!

Great for a weekend getaway

We were so happy with the easy check-in, location, and it was exactly what we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway stay. We did have an issue with cleanliness. The people who stayed before us must have had a dog and there was dog hair everywhere and kind of smelled like dog still. Otherwise it was perfect.

Spectacular location, helpful and friendly staff

Unbelievable location. Can literally ski/ride directly to the back porch entrance if you want. Free public parking lot abuts property, and is between property and #7 lift. Easily walk anywhere in town. Basic but very clean accommodations. Friendly and responsive staff.

Modernized comfort

Wife and I stayed and enjoyed a couple days on the slopes. Room has modern flooring, no carpet and a wall mounted flat screen. Room was very clean and has enough space to be comfortable. We will look for this space again next year. Also perfect location for skiing and restaurants.
