The lone bedroom features a California king bed, flat screen TV and a balcony with views of the San Sophia range and the box canyon.
A twin bunk bed is located at the end of the hallway for extra sleeping space.
The bathroom is located at the end of the hall and has an additional vanity area in the hallway. The bathroom itself features a shower/tub combo.
The Viking Lodge has charcoal grills and a common area laundry with coin-operated washers and dryers. No pets are permitted, per HOA rules.

A note from the homeowner to their guests: We moved to Telluride in 1962. We were a mining engineer and a school teacher. We bought a house in town in 1963 and we sold it in 1979 after being gone from Telluride for three years. After longing for Telluride and the mountains – we bought a condo in the Viking Lodge in 1992. We like the Viking because it sits between Lift 7 and the Gondola and it is a quiet area. The River Trail is handy and fun to walk on and we appreciate it being a second-floor end unit. We use the unit ourselves for skiing, hiking, four-wheeling in the summer and ‘Grandma and Me’ trips.

Great use of space
The place was very cute and the bunk bed nook was a perfect way for a teen or kids to have their own space.

Great location, responsive to hide a bed help with mattress cover, hot tub was great, plenty of towels. This is good for 3-4 folks. With one bath it would be tight for 6 adults (but there is another bathroom by the pool...)

Great location in Telluride
Fabulous in town location! Condo is well equipped with basic needs. It’s definitely dated and due for updating, but the price & location make up for it.

Needs Updating and improvement
Unfortunately the property which was priced quite high is very dated. The heating unit in the Bedroom was not functional and the manager brought a space heater in. Rather cold during the winter and noisy with the space heater. The following day the heater was repaired while we were skiing. The unit is dated and has only a stove top and no oven. The stove has no on light and the heating element controls are difficult to use. There is no washer in house or dishwasher. No garbage disposal. This is an early 1990s mini condo. Bunk beds have a curtain only. Carnot recommend this especially at the price point.

Not what the description offered.
After renting for years and years on VRBO all across the Southwest, Canada and Mexico we were a bit disappointed by this experience. The room description gave no square footage yet stated the unit was good for a party of 6 and described the unit as having a hallway leading to different parts of the unit. There is no hallway, it was tiny, dark and the twin bunks were not the actual width of a twin bed. Our family of 5 found these pictures to be very happy and bright and yet the unit was dark and cramped. It was really frustrating to be in such a tiny unit with poor beds. We ended up using an air mattress for one child and had two kids sleep on the couch pull out. The property management does not offer cleaning just towel replacement and trash removal one time over 6 days. It was cramped and did not have enough space for 6 people let alone a family of 5 with small kids. Unfortunately the pictures led us to book it. We wished so badly that we had spent more on accommodations as the only plus to this unit was that it was "affordable". The town was booked solid, the cancellation fee was the total bill - we were stuck!
For two people this would be a decent unit to rent.

Great Stay In Telluride
The Viking lodge was easy to find when we arrived at 1am. The door code entry was super convenient to use to get access lat night. Parking want too hard to come by. Good view form the front porch, close walk to the lift. About 5 min walk to downtown which was faster than the free buss even. Kitchen had almost everything we needed in it (well stocked for the space). Cool history of the town of Telluride told form the owners time there. Hot tub and pool were nice and other guests were friendly. Would come back no question.
