This place IS NOT SAFE.
There was no lock on the cabin door and no key given. The main entrance was always open so anyone could come in and steal or assault you.
The owner was away until midnight Friday night, so do not believe it is staffed 24 hours a day. It isn't. The hotel electric fused and I had to find the reset switch myself during a thunderstorm because the owner had left for hours.
No apology the next day, in fact he complained a guest arrived late and didn't have enough cash to pay for the room andsent him to get cash at 1am!
My advice is pay with credit card before you go if you stay and then you can dispute afterwards. I paid cash but there was no receipt or bill given when we checked out.
DO NOT bring children here as there are many high balconies with no barriers.
The whole place is like a wooden tree house with incompetent electrics which are a fire hazard.
If you are on the higher floors and a fire starts, there is no fire escape and I didn't see a single fire extinguisher or EXIT sign.
The shower didn't have any hot water for 2 days and had bare copper wires showing. The owner claimed that was not a problem as the wires are above the shower head. In fact he had an excuse for all the problems and not once apologized or took any responsibility.
"Continental breakfast" is grim coffee and cold toast with jelly.
There is no way this place would pass safety inspections in America or Europe.
