Itâs on a beautiful lakefront setting, with all the rooms facing the lake. But the beds were more than firm, in fact rather hard, with only a single slim pillow apiece. The carpet looked tired and the room wouldnât cool off no matter how one set the thermostat. Opening the slats at the bottom of the window eventually cooled it a bit. The dinner buffet seemed expensive at 5500 yen, with no option to order a la carte. So we declined and went back to town and hit the excellent Teshikaga Ramen place. Overall the hotel seemed more about appearance than comfort.
The dining was limited to over priced buffet (55000/ppl) for the level of food that were served, if you do not want buffet then you only have a choice of 3 set menus. The service was not great, and felt that we were inconveniencing them for not having
