Our apartment is located in the Upper Town of Thale towards Hexentanzplatz and was renovated by us with a lot of effort and lovingly decorated, with the hope that all guests feel at ease. It was rated by the German Tourism Association with 4 **** stars. The 80 square meter holiday with roof terrace is located in. 1 OG and offers enough space for 4 people (plus 1 baby). With attention to detail, all rooms have been designed.
There are 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, the second bedroom has an additional flat screen TV, a bathroom with large real glass shower, hairdryer, Schmikspiegel and a living room with comfortable couch, flat screen TV and DVD player from which go directly to the 16 square meter roof terrace can. The outlook for Roßtrappe is "amazing"! Here invites a large seating area to relax. The neugestalte kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: a large table for relaxing breakfast is available, as well as a coffee maker, toaster, kettle, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and a large refrigerator.
Children are very welcome here. For the "little ones" of course there are cots, a high chair and toys.
Our prices include electricity and water costs, final cleaning and linen / towels in the initial. Free WiFi available in all rooms.
Our apartment is the perfect base for your relaxing holiday. In a few minutes walk from the Bodetal or can immediately run a hiking tour to the Hexentanzplatz.
We are happy to offer you on request a sandwich service. Free parking is available in about 30m distance to the apartment.
Our ski rental can be found in only 7 km away neighboring Friedrichsbrunn, where the cross-country arena begins.
Countless shops are only a few minutes away.
Thale, myths town at the foot of the Hexentanzplatz and Rosstrappe, is a starting point for numerous activities for the whole family. The Bode Valley with its mystical valleys and babbling brooks offers attractive cultural and many recreational opportunities.
The Bodetaltherme, the adventure playground, an adventure park, the Witches, the cinema, the building Pielhaus who Mythenweg are just a little taste, to see what awaits you in the valley. An excellent place to stay
This is one of the best holiday apartments that we have stayed in. It is spacious, very comfortable and extremely well-equipped. The south-facing roof terrace, with its views towards the Bodetal, is a splendid area in which to sit for meals, an early-evening drink, or merely to relax and muse. Every possible need has been considered and met, and there is a very good set of information about the area, including maps. Herr and Frau John are excellent hosts: helpful and informative, but not intrusive. The provision of bread rolls every morning was really useful, and they thoughtfully provided us with some information leaflets in English The apartment is located within walking distance of the bus and train stations - travel on buses is free with the tourist pass - and also to the cable cars and the highly picturesque Bodetal. The attractive towns of Quedlinburg and Wernigerode are within an hour's travel by bus. Local supermarkets are 5 minutes away by car. Car parking is immediately opposite the apartment, and we stored our bikes securely in the yard. We had a superb week here and have no hesitation in recommending it.

„sagenhaft“ – nicht nur der Name der Ferienwohnung
Wir, zwei sehr Erwachsene und ein 12 jähriges Mädchen aus einem anderen Kulturkreis waren eine Woche vor Ostern 2024 Bewohner der FeWo „sagenhaft“. Gebucht hatten wir sie wegen des Exposees der Vermieter, aber vor allem aufgrund der Bewertungen aller „Vormieter“ mit 5 von 5 Punkten. Mehr geht nicht. Alle: die Ver“- und die „Vor“-mieter übertrieben nicht. Was kann ich da noch hinzufügen? Ja, doch: die außergewöhnliche und vertrauensvolle Kommunikation mit der Familie John – selbst wegen denkbarer Probleme bei der Anreise angesichts eines für Thale konfliktträchtigen Fußballspiels machten sich die Vermieter Sorgen: wir wurden angerufen, und uns wurde eine vorzeitige kostenfreie!! Übernachtung angeboten. Mit den vielen bereitliegenden Gesellschaftsspielen konnten wir uns auch abends gut mit unserem Kind amüsieren. Was uns auch zu Hause besonders wichtig ist: komfortable Ausstattung der Räume, viele erreichbare Steckdosen, gutes WLAN usw. – hatten wir hier – und dazu einen super Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen zu den „Big five“ im Harz: Brocken, Hexentanzplatz, Rosstrappe (wie im Angebot beschrieben: Ausblick von der Terrasse aus sagenhaft), die bekannten Höhlen und Wernigerode – alles fußläufig oder nach wenigen Auto-km erreichbar. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden!

Super ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in super Lage
Ich weiß nicht, was mir in dieser Ferienwohnung hätte fehlen können. Es war einfach alles da. Die Wohnung ist im 1.OG, die Lage ist ruhig und die Aussicht einfach nur gigantisch. Es gibt einen Freisitz für die Tage mit schönem Wetter, um den Blick auf die Felsen zu genießen. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Es ist alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch wenn wir zum Einkaufen dann doch das Auto genommen haben. :) Die Therme, die Seilbahn/der Sessellift, die Spaßinsel etc.: alles ist erreichbar in wenigen Minuten. Unterm Strich war unser Aufenthalt einfach zu kurz, um alles zu besuchen, was in der Umgebung noch besuchenswert ist. Direkt in der Nachbarschaft gibt es ein griechisches und ein italienisches Restaurant. Wer nicht selber kochen möchte, wird nicht verhungern. Parken ist gegenüber auf der Straße unkompliziert und kostenlos möglich. Nur an einem Tag in der Woche muss man der Kehrmaschine Platz machen und um die Ecke parken. Vielen Dank an die netten Vermieter. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.
