A motel conveniently located next to a gas station. We felt that the 8 star rating was overly generous and would not have chosen this motel had we been more diligent in our research. The room was dark, the bed skirt torn, there no dining besides the motel restaurant, which messed up our order and didn't apologize. It was altogether rather dismal.

Interesting design of motel. Our room was small but adequate for 1night. Loved the convenience of restaurant on site. Really nice touch with having hot drinks and buscuits available in the lobby. We did arrive 2 hours early and the receptionist on duty was rude and abrupt when informing us to come back 2 hours later at check in time. We came back after 11/2 hours and we were happy to sit in the lobby but the next receptionist shift was happy to check us in.

One of a kind lodging.

Nice room, good tv, comfortable bed. The food was very good. Chicken fried steak, onion soup, tap beer and a mile high strawberry cake with ice cream. Great food service.

The heavy pull UP blinds over the sliding door to the porch were a nightmare and I kept hitting my head on them. The handle to the sliding bathroom door was installed directly on the edge of the door so it slammed on our fingers and broke my nail, very painful. We left for breakfast and placed the do not disturb sign in the lock and they came into our room!

Old but clean and comfortable

This is an older property that has been there for as long as I can remember but it is kept up. Room was small, a little cramped but clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. I was surprised as how quiet my room was considering there was a little league team staying here. The restaurant is popular so sometimes parking is a challenge.
