Comfortable beachfront family holiday house at Yorke Peninsula SA

DOLPHIN VIEW is a comfortable 3 bedroom holiday home on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, accommodating up to 8 guests. It is a beachfront property with a lovely front deck and sea views. The house is a three hour drive from Adelaide.

It has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area; kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer; living area with split system air-conditioner, combustion heating (BYO wood or buy on-site), TV/DVD; a BBQ; and bathroom with shower and washing machine.

NOTE: Due to current COVID-19 safe accommodation guidelines, we are able to provide pillows and quilts with quilt covers but guests must bring all other bedding -- blankets, pillow cases, top/bottom sheets and bath towels.

However, we are also able to make up the beds and supply all linen, including sheets and towels, for an additional $25 per bed for the duration of the stay. This will be billed separately through Stayz.

Fishing, surfing, swimming, camping, boating, bushwalking and wildlife; there’s so much to see and do on the Yorke Peninsula. The region has loads of attractions, from galleries and museums to restaurants and cafes. It boasts some of Australia’s greatest surfing beaches and is strewn with shipwrecks for divers.

If you love seafood, there's some great fishing right in front of our property. Grab your rod, a few cockles and squid for bait -- esky, ice and cold beer optional but recommended! Walk to the left of the boat ramp one hour either side of the high tide and toss in a line to try your luck with Whiting, Flathead, Tommies, Mullet and Salmon trout. At low tide you can walk out to the blue line in knee deep water and bag a few King George Whiting.

Back on dry land you can explore mining towns and national parks. Spectacular lighthouses can be found perched at Cape Spencer and Corny Point. Discover the Yorke Peninsula’s beautiful coastline as you "Walk the Yorke” along 500 kilometres of shared walking and cycling leisure trails. Explore shipwrecks, lighthouses and seaside towns or spend the day at the beach.

Great holiday stay for a group of chill fishing dudes

Grandparents treat!

We took our 5 grandies for a holiday break. The Pines was an excellent place, the accommodation (Dolphin’s View) was idea for us all. Host communicated well prior to holiday which made things easy. Normally a beautiful beach the seaweed was very thick due to weather conditions, but children still found plenty to do. Locals were very nice with information of the area as well. Every one enjoyed the holiday and would not hesitate to return again. Thankyou

Perfection a the Pines

We had a group of 7 guys for a fishing long weekend. Awesome weather meant we lived outside on the beautiful deck looking over the boat ramp. Although newcomers to the area we had some success fishing for whiting and squid. The location was great for access to Marion Bay from where we did a charter, and access to the area around Daly Heads (surfing and surf fishing ) was easy. The perfect place to stay for a lower Yorke Peninsula Holiday.

Beautiful and relaxing

We were really looking forward to our stay at Dolphin View and upon arrival, it didn't disappoint. Location right across the road from the beach was perfect and so easy to access for a leisurely walk along the sand or in the shallow water. House was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with owner was great and check in was a breeze. Would definitely look to going back again.

Awesome place

We stayed here with family for 4 days and it was amazing.The place is well maintained and really comfy.The pictures listed on the website dont do justice to the place as in reality it is much nicer.The host is extremely cooperative and always available for any queries.We will definitely be coming back and will recommend to family and friends for sure.

Comfortable and great location

Our stay at Dolphin views was comfortable and relaxing . The house was fitted out well and the deck was a beautiful place to dine . The beach front view was gorgeous.
