Overall, the stay was okay. The furnishings, such as the sofa and bed, are somewhat outdated and dirty with stains. The location is exceptionally good; you can get everywhere in the city center on foot and don't need public transportation. However, due to its central location, the apartment is very noisy, making sleep possible only with earplugs. Unfortunately, you can also hear everything from the neighboring rooms in the apartment itself.

Terrible, stay away. Seams like scam!
I booked two nights and received no further information. After the amount had been charged to my card, I read a review from a previous guest stating that the rental company couldnât find their reservation. The same thing happened to us. The ad stated that we would receive a secure code by email with information about the apartment and how to enter it. Since we never received this, we had to find the apartment ourselves and figure out how to get into the building where the apartment was located. A neighbor let us into the main entrance. From there, we had no further information.
After a while, I called the number listed in the rental ad. A woman answered and initially said she couldnât find the reservation, while I could hear a child crying in the background. After going back and forth, she said she eventually found the reservation but could not provide information about how to access the apartment. She asked me to provide our passport information verbally over the phone. I told her I wouldnât give out that information without the secure link mentioned in the ad. I never received that secure link.
She then asked me to go to another address to show my passport. At that point, I was sure we were being scammed. In the end, she refused to refund the money I had paid, and we had to book a hotel to have a place to sleep for the night. I will never book anything from this rental company again.
Nilie Hospitality manages several properties in Thess. We had booked the Agia Sofia apartment (it is a great location) but they claimed they never got the reservation (a lie) and redirected us to a property near Ladadika (Great Apple) instead. They charged us the same price but the property was NOT equivalent to what we had booked. Huge apartment complex with terrible/non existent Wifi, dirty curtains and couches, hot water only if you pushed a button and waited 15 mins to warm up, smelly bathroom, etc. Expedia tried to rectify and offered to relocate us but by then we simply did not have the energy to move. The management were polite on the phone but could really not fix a bad apartment nor would they admit they messed up on the reservation. I visit Thessaloniki frequently and I will NOT use again any of the properties they manage. I have never left a negative review on expedia btw, I am usually relatively easy going but the whole experience was negative and tainted our stay in this beautiful city.
