THIS HOUSE ONLY SLEEPS 2! We are 35 miles North of Moab and 30 miles north of Arches National Park. We are just 1 mile off of I-70 exit 187, which is the closest exit to the Moab exit #182. We are close enough to be convenient ,and yet far enough away to be secluded. The house is clean and new and is perfect for a couple who is not wanting to spend a fortune . There is a fully equipped kitchen ,complete with pots and pans.
Perfect amount of space for 2. Had everything we needed to stay for a couple days. We drove a little away from the property for stargazing due to one (of only 2) of the street lights being right next to us.
Good accommodations with everything we needed, clean with great A/C. Perfect for two people and great communication with Walt. Thanks for sharing your place with us
Very nice unit in the RV park. 45 minutes to Fisher Peaks, Arches, Canyonland and Dead Horse Point. Clean. Excellent furniture. There are bright exterior lights on the property which limits the dark sky viewing. I would stay here anytime over a Moab motel.
The house was wonderful and exactly as listed, it was small and cozy and had a great view in a great neighborhood. Although the AC unit was unable to cool the house throughout our entire visit. The thermostat was set at 72 degrees and the windows left closed, per the request of the property owner and the AC was constantly running and not making a dent in the heat. The first night it made it to 88 degrees in the house by 8 pm and the second night made it to 92. It was to the point of unbearble and impossible to sleep. Attempted to make contact with the property host to confirm if this was the norm (being in the desert I semi understand some heat) but was never answered.
Property was perfect for the two of us. The cabin was very clean and was well stocked. The only caution I would give was the A/C struggled to keep up on the days it was in the upper 80âs and 90âs. We did contact the owners so that are aware and are hopefully looking into correcting this issue. I would 100% stay here again as long as it was not in the heat of the summer. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay while visiting the area!
We had a great time and everything was as it was in the listing. My one complaint is that in the listing is says you are 30 minutes from Arches National Park, which is partially true. I would say it is about 40 minutes and that
The house was clean and comfortable. The host helped me with special requests for scented items to be removed. The area was pretty and quiet. You kind of feel like you're out in the country. They have fire pits which I think would be nice for a longer stay.
Enjoyed our stay very much! Had pretty much everything we needed for Thanksgiving and the sites around the park were gorgeous. Would definitely return!
Very nice for a tiny home! Hot water was pretty limited and internet wasn't great. Just sitting in the middle of a gravel lot, nothing special, but we loved this as a cozy stop on our road trip through Utah!
Convenient location to Moab, canyon hikes and the national parks nearby. This place was perfect for me and my two dogs to go explore during the day and then come back to shower and pass out! Occasional train heard but otherwise quiet.
Great property, easy to get to, very clean! The area was quiet and we loved learning about the town and surrounding area. Short scenic drive to Arches. We loved it!
This was a very comfortable and well equipped park model. A/C worked great. Loved the cooler nights. Turned off A/C and opened the windows for a lovely cool nights sleep.
Appreciated that the pots and pans they had for cooking were quite decent. Nice fridge/freezer with ice maker too. Ample towels, paper products abd dishwasher soap.
We had a wonderful 3 day stay. Thanks
This was my first VRBO experience and I really enjoyed it!
I picked this particular stay because of its location, I didnt know of Thompson Springs, at all, but i liked that it was close to the city but still not in city. We arrived 3 hours before check in, and used that time to drive around the town and check out what Thompson is about. At the far end of town is an old single room school house which directs you to an excellent display of 3 petroglyphs, an old stone dutch oven, and the abandoned remains of Thompson Springs in the canyon. We had an amazing time even in just those 3 hours and then we still had the rest of our vacation to enjoy Moab, but i still chose to go up that canyon atleast once everyday we were there. I absolutely loved this stay and will definitely return.
Its only about 30 minutes from Moab, and about 10 from Jacka$$ Joes delicious jerky at Crescent Junction!
Also have fun finding the hidden arch!!
Great value and location, except for the freight trains
The house was fully stocked with kitchen utensils, linens, towels, soap, and shampoo. There was ample storage space and a comfortable bed. Check-in was smooth and easy. Moab felt very close with a drive down the highway.
On the downside, I found the freight trains at all hours of the night blaring their horns to be annoying.
