In the nearby town, about 3.5 km away, you will find souvenir shops, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, cinemas, shopping facilities, a weekly market, banks, a train station, and bakeries. The ski areas in the High Black Forest can be reached by car in about 10 minutes. Excursion destinations such as Titisee, Feldberg, Schluchsee, or the Wutach Gorge are around 15 minutes away.
