I’ve stayed here a few times and I like how there’s room under the bed to store luggage. Other APA don’t have space under the bed. Ueno has many markets and everything is within walking distance of the station. Very convenient if you arrive from Narita.

It was a short 10 minute walk from Ueno station. And short walk to all that is going in the area which is very busy. It was new for us but check in was automated and also the checkout was as well. We had room on 1503 it was roomy enough. Good size bathroom. Breakfast was on ground floor it was a small area so lucky we went early as they warn of long delays, it was basic but enough to start the day.

The location is excellent! There is skylines, Metro, JR all within 10 mins walking. The Ueno park is one of the best experience- world class! Breakfast is going. All the staffs are great and helpful. The onsen is a big plus. The only down side is the breakfast restaurant is small but it works. The rooms are small but it is expected in Tokyo.
