We immediately checked out bc our room was so gross & tiny for how expensive it was. It was outrageous how much it was & how long it took to get only a partial refund. Don't trust the photos, seriously.

Photos look beautiful but the reality is that only the lobby is like the photos, super dirty everywhere, the rooms extremely small and smell like mold, carpet is disgusting, walls are dirty. Price is good but is not worth it, rather pay a little more and be in a cleaner environment.

Pleasantly Surprised

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Although they crammed three twin beds in one room, the beds were comfortable and the room was perfect for our short stay. The bathroom is small, but at least there was an actual bathtub shower combo that didn’t get the floor wet. The water pressure and heat was amazing! The mirror in the bathroom didn’t fog up right around the area if you were standing at the sink. I’d never seen a mirror like that before. And I just love a heated toilet seat. Also, the hotel offers free coffee, tea, wine, champagne, and sake every evening in the lobby area. They provide free bottled water in the room, but there wasn’t a fridge to keep anything cold. They also have free bread, donuts, or bagel items for breakfast. Nothing fancy or an American continental breakfast type of spread. However, I didn’t come to Japan for anything American, except maybe Starbucks. The hotel is close to a train station, so it’s really easy to get around. It’s also walkable to lots of other places to eat and to go shopping. One thing, I couldn’t find any English speaking channels on television and I couldn’t seem to use the Netflix or YouTube buttons on the remote. I don’t know if they just didn’t work, but I didn’t bother to ask the staff. There was a ¥500 ($3 USD) room tax, and only ¥1000/hour, up to two hours for a late check out, which is less than $14 USD extra. In America, it would’ve cost so much more. Overall, it was a really nice stay and I would stay again.
