My stay at the Grand Prince Takanawa was excellent, however, I have a few suggestions. I stayed for over 2 weeks at this property. The buffet breakfast was ok, but there needs to be more of a selection. There needs to be fried eggs or other type of eggs besides the processed scrambled egg mixture, the fruit section was ok, but needs more fruits and desserts. The Intercontinental Tokyo Bay buffet breakfast was excellent, please check to see if you can improve. The Room was very clean, but you need to add lotion to your bathroom amenities, get rid of the hair brush, it's horrible, a comb would be much better. The staff was awesome and deserves to be praised. Your staff on obtaining a taxi was exceptional. The reception staff was very helpful needs to smile more. YOUR JAPANESE GARDEN WAS EXCELLENT DURING THE DAY AND NIGHT! IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT. Other than the above, my stay was excellent.

An absolutely perfect stay from beginning to end! Everything was complete and thoughtfully prepared, from the smooth check-in process to the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The service was excellent, and every detail made the experience feel seamless and relaxing. The highlight was definitely the garden. It was beautifully maintained, peaceful, and added such a special charm to the property. Spending time there truly elevated the entire stay. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful experience.

The only positive thing about this hotel is its location near Shinagawa Station, which makes travelling convenient. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The reception team was unwelcoming, unprofessional, and provided no useful information upon arrival. First impressions matter, and ours was extremely poor. Although we were “upgraded” to a Premier Room on the 15th floor, the room was outdated, had an unpleasant smell, and felt far from premium. The bathroom was very small, and instead of the king-size bed we expected, we were given two separate beds, which was inconvenient and unacceptable. An upgrade should feel like an improvement, not a downgrade. While some of the other staff members were friendly, it does not compensate for the overall poor experience. For the high price charged, the quality, comfort, and service were simply not worth it. This hotel does not offer value for money, and I would not stay here again nor recommend it to others.

The staff are very kind and polite and the hotel is beautiful. It is so quiet and peaceful and the room we stayed in was very large with a beautiful view of the garden. There is a lovely gin bar, a 711 onsite, and several great restaurants. The Shinagawa station has nearly every line and Shinkansen, so you do not need to change often. Will stay here again!
