We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Monterey Hanzomon. What a perfect location for us. Right by the rail, walking to great restaurants, all the room amenities and great hairdryer, very relaxing and very quiet. We would definitely stay here again. Arigato gozaimasu to the staff and especially the lovely lady that greeted us for breakfast on the first 2 mornings. She is wonderful!

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Great location with a 7 Eleven 1min walk away and Honzamon line was right accross the street that takes you to Shinjuku and Shibuya in 15-17min

Shops a short metro ride away. Shrines and park walking distance. Quiet, safe neighbourhood to walk after dark, with delightful, small local restaurants for dinner. Room was small, clean, pyjamas and slippers to wear, water, coffee, tea, usual hotel amenities.

Excellent value for money. Room was very clean and a nice size, staff very friemdly, bed was comfortable, washing room available, very good breakfast, very close to train station, walking distance to emperors palace gardens, inexpensive places to eat at night. Was a great choice for us.

Lovely hotel located right across from the Hanzomon Station. Walking distance to the imperial Palace but unfortunately the entrance is on the opposite side from where hotel is located so that wasn’t helpful lol. Rooms are small with the bed pushed against the wall, but bathroom was a good size with a deep full size bath tub. Unfortunately the hotel had no where for guests to spend any time other than in their own rooms. The restaurant was for the breakfast buffet only and it couldn’t be used for anything else. They offered to let me have a coffee but was told I had to take it back up to my room to drink it as you’re not allowed to be in the restaurant and couldn’t have it on one of the two little sofas around the corner from the reception. The hotel itself was lovely though 😊

The breakfast buffet is the best ever! So many wonderful choices and the coffee was delicious. The laundry facilities could be improved (drying clothes took forever and didn't end up totally dry in the end). Great small restaurants nearby and a 7-11 across the street.
