Its very close to the ikebukuro station so you can get around tokyo very easily.

Disappointing front staff. Not helpful to tourists
Posted Jan. 8, 2024 on HotelsFront desk staff just not helpful. They refuse to even try to communicate in English, except for 1 lady. She wasnt there all the time. Extremely frustrating to deal with them. You ask them a question and they take 10 minutes to just understand exactly what you want. Then using translate tool, ask you the same question that you asked them. In the end, you have justcwasted your time. We ended up taking help from our hotel staff in Kyoto. They were kind enough to help us wirh things about Tokyo.
Some nice things about this hotel. Convenient location and 1 minute walk to the JR/metro stations. Only drawback is thst its not on the main road and is licated on a side street. So on way to this hotel, you have to pass by some adult bars, adult entertainment cebters, sone drunk people. But as soon as you come on the main street, its a whole different thing. Amszing neighborhood. We will not stay at Tokyu Stay next time we visit Japan. It will be some other hotel even if we have to pay slightly more. We will still stay in Ikebukuro since its just amazing and convenient to go to places like Shinjuku (4 stops away), Ginza and Shibuya crossing.

Love the quiet location of this hotel, it’s away from busy street and at the same time pretty safe neighbourhood. Rooms are clean.

Convenient and close to metro station. Room is clean and spacious enough for one ppl. Bathroom is clean as well. Great location to access everwhere at Ikebukuro.

Great place to stay with everything you need, good size room and close to everything. Love having the washer/dryer in the room, very handy. Lovely staff too

Loved the connivence of the hotels location. Clean room, great to have the washer/dryer available. Easy walking distance to Ikebukuro Station, shopping and food. Lovely staff who were super helpful. Would stay again.
