Awful experience

The check in was good with very nice person. Last night people were calling my room the lady was rude to the callers like she was being disturbed. I stayed two nights and my room was not cleaned or bed made. Very disappointed with reviews I read to make a choice to stay there

Just don’t!

Although our stay was unpleasant I wanted to recognize the woman that was working the front desk at the Endeavor Inn in Topeka. She did everything in her power to make our stay better. We rented 2 rooms and both were dirty and one room was uninhabitable due to the temperature. We checked in at 6:50pm hoping to shower, eat and sleep after driving 10 hours but this wasn’t what happened. One of our rooms was about 85-90° when arrived. We turned down the AC and spoke to the front desk. About 45 minutes later when the room temp hadn’t improved we went back down to the front desk. We were told that there were no other available rooms and manager was called and she told the front desk person to call maintenance. Maintenance was called multiple times before they arrived to fix the ac unit. The room was cool enough to enter at almost 10pm. We then realized that the sheets had food residue and hadn’t been changed. We went back down to the front desk and were given sheets to change it ourselves. Our other room was also not cleaned. When we arrived the trash can was filled with alcohol bottles, there were someone else’s shoes under the bed and assorted used silverware with old food still on it. (We have pictures to confirm) We were told that the manager would be available in the morning to talk but she was not in. She has not called us back and it’s over 24 hours later.

Was ok. Beds were comfortable. But the room we had was obviously a pet friendly room- which we wanted. But it’s always disappointing when you can tell it isn’t cleaned or maintained as well as the rest of the hotel.

It was awful!! The pool wasn’t open and that’s the only reason we came!!!! When I booked this hotel it said the pool was open!!! Then e couldn’t get the t.v to work the front desk had to come fix it. When we got here at three the room wasn’t ready yet!!!!
