The check-in process was great and we were upgraded to a room with a soaker tub, which we loved. The restaurant is very small, but the food was great and the server was wonderful (although, working alone and running around doing it all, while the manager, or maybe owner or something?, was drinking with friends). The breakfast bar was also quite good and the server very attentive. The room was very nice, but the finishings were a bit less than luxury. The soaker tub leaked and wouldn't keep water in it. The sheets on the bed weren't fitted sheets for some reason, and the whole bedding was coming apart at night. We couldn't figure out if the TV worked, but we enjoyed having a couch in our room. The rooms are advertised as sound-proof, but we could hear people in the hall at night and kids running around in the morning. The grounds around the place (although somewhat under construction) are secluded and beautiful. They have a good outdoor space to lounge and enjoy a drink or coffee.

Seems like a new venue or venture. Loved the property surroundings being in the country, very quiet. Seemed to be upgrades or renovations going on though, our hillside view was blocked by a tree and a big excavator right outside the window. Rooms were fairly clean and well designed though. May be better once the improvements are completed in 2026.

The property is large, quiet and nice. Free parking is a great perk, the staff is super friendly, and the continental breakfast is good. A cute little turn-down plate with brownies, cookies and an apple. Loved having the smart TV, bed is comfortable, and darkening curtains would be nice. Across the road is a nice brewery to walk to. The outside looks great, the staff works hard to accommodate all requests. Dinner was fabulous but you pay for it; breakfast was hit or miss, presentation was good but quality varied. The bed is comfortable, however the decor is odd: toilet seat does not match, the floor was uneven in spots, Herbal Essence shampoo as luxury? Single-ply toilet paper? No robe hooks? No enough furniture, oddly arranged and unstable!, the lighting is odd too.

The rooms are newly renovated, modern & open concept. Bed, Linen and Pillows are very good quality, Staff is very courteous. Breakfast was included in our rate and was excellent. Very quiet retreat, great place to unwind. Quality of room, bed and linen is comparable a Fairmont property.

Decent place to chill for the weekend

Nice place to relax for the weekend. Great service, but the hotel has pretty obviously not been maintained for a few years and it’s starting to show here and there. Still decent, but it’ll be a little rough if they don’t start investing money soon…

The property is nice. Entrance and lobby are inviting. Signs of wear in some areas suggest there has been some renovation but it's not quite there yet. Our room was quite small. Limited suppkies (no soap, half toilet paper roll, 1 towel each. No hand towels) Breakfast was similar to any chain. Disappointing for the price
